There really isn't a big difference between Marist and Siena...without Silas, Bisping and a hobbled Poole

If he can close the deal with Eli Cain he has the job.

Perhaps that's the plan. A popular decision with the fan base for sure.

Was there any official explanation for him being there? Esp on the bench.. Jimmy said other alums were there? Other former players? Inspiration! Siena had given him a ticket in the stands but, being height challenged like me, Steven couldn't see the game like he was used to for the past four years (I heard he was to be right behind PPC) so a seat on the bench was made available - a little bird told me there were many volunteers, including staff, willing to give him their seat - nice guys in our Siena family! Also, a review of his time at Siena revealed 13 minutes of eligibility left that might have been useful at the "guard" position late game but we were Cruz'n by then. Whatever the reason, it worked - he kept Jimmy busy for the closing minute - kept control of Jimmy's age related problem of "premature celebrations" - LOL! All kidding aside, it was great to see him back. Wish him the best in whatever the future might hold. He didn't put up big numbers but he was a very integral and important part of the teams he was on.

I love it when you talk ... oops very cute! nice subject to be discussing for a change of pace. What a wonderful surprise and beautiful thing to happen for the Siena family if Cruz ever really did become part of the Siena staff. Where did the present head coach of the Miami Heat start? It's all about hard work , environment and work ethic. . It would be really interested to see what Cruz could add to the program in some capacity. He has the attitude and the positive personality.
