Good win. Wasn't a thing of beauty but a solid second half. Boy we missed Rob Poole - 20 points tonight and was on fire from downtown!!
Lavon Long and JO really went to work on the Foxes inside. Marquis with a much better second half.
Took care of business...now on to St. Peter's - a tougher test. Siena has not won three straight yet this season or won back to back home games. It's time to put both of those to bed on Sunday. But we have to come out stronger and get some more from Evan and Ryan.
Go Saints!!

Rob Poole was a man out there, he was really hurting, didn’t have much lateral quickness at all, but just gutted it out and shot lights out, nice balance 4 guys in double figures

Game is a lot easier when you make 3's. Nice second half.

If Rob doesn't play we lose. Nice games overall from Long, Wright, and JO. as well. A team effort. I thought we might get to Merill time, then I was just hoping we would win the damn game there at the end.

Good game, nice crowd, gorvy is 100% correct, no Poole , no win. I was nervous that he wasn't going to play when he was sitting with his warmup on and things were going to hell quickly early on.

I think Curry really gets the Siena game ball - he hit a three just before Robbie went off and was really dishing some chest pounding shit (which he did from the onset of the game) to Robbie. That lit the fire under Robbie and he quickly answered and then some. Great game - his offense loosened everyone up - Marquis was also on fire.

Well, a win is a win. Up 15, I was hoping we could put them away--instead we held them at bay enough to get the W. A lot of basketball plays from Poole. Long, Wright and JO. It's a good thing Marist can't put the ball in the hoop in close. Couldn't believe how often they got to the hoop but kept missing. Hope we build on this Sunday. Guys gotta really come with energy. Most games with St. Peters are hard fought and UGLY! Let's get it done!

Early in Marist's warm-ups,(after Siena went in the locker room), Curry was done at one basket with a coach shooting just threes. He hits six in a row rotating around the perimeter. I said to a friend how I hoped someone on the coaching staff just saw that. The game starts and Curry hits a couple of threes, the second is from way downtown. I starting #%& but fortunately Siena tightened up on him. The kid has a quick release. I didn't remember him being that good of a shooter. He definitely inspired Rob.
