Brett coming back would be a mistake all sorts of conditioning issues getting back up to speed he was already behind the 8 ball at the start of the season And Why risk a reiinjury at this point I agree with Gorvy, if Brett can go at all bring him back. The MAAC isn't that strong and the addition of Brett makes us a much more dangerous team in March. Secondly no guarantee Brett comes back for his 5th season, and thrid, if he did come back for this 5th season it might hold back the development of Fisher a very similar type player but more athletic with a bigger upside Honestly how can you say bigger upside? I mean I have only seen videos and read stories but without seeing him play night in and night out against maac caliber players, it seems a stretch to think we would need to rush to develop a kid we haven't seen play college ball yet.

Who said "rush" anyone-- Fisher will play a year behind Brett-- that's plenty of time to develop. As for a bigger upside, that's pretty easy to see, Fisher shoots the ball is as big or bigger than Brett and is much more athletic- no guarantee he will be a better player, but pretty easy to see he has a good "upside"

This program needs to move forward, or gg will be making fun of us in year 10 of the reload.

I agree if Brett can play and is able to return within the next couple of weeks - play him. The goal now is to finish in the top 5 (the higher the better of course) and who knows, if Siena can get some momentum, what can happen in the MAAC tournament. The team put it all together during the CBI run (mostly home games) against similar competition maybe lightening strikes again? #optimism
But right now just beat St. Peter's!!!

1-18 would indicate that. While I wouldn't go as far as Jimmy and say Marist is a “good” team. I will say this you think Siena was hit by injury bug, check out Marist, last night they were missing their starting center, Lewis missed several games, Hart missed like 14 games with foot injury and still is hobbled , Curry has missed several games – so while Marist isn’t good, they are just starting to get healthy. Well said Tony. That Marist team, with their full roster would certainly have more wins. Injuries with that type of volume aren't excuses, it's reality.

Marist currently injured post player (5) is a stiff outside of Hart and Lewis and maybe Currry they have nobody and I mean nobody. It's not a good basketball team. Anyone excited about beating them or calling it a good win is nuts. With their injuries they were horrible now they are just bad.

Siena blew out Marist in the second half. Troug averages 6 and 5 - OK big man. I mean at least ClickClack doesn't pretend he likes Siena. Enjoy the season your Danes are having, Luca and move on.

With the injuries and the shape the team is in now all wins are good wins. I'll take em all.

Yeah ok you and I differ big time on that ....whatever makes you happy. You guys are really delusional. This program and its expectations have really taken a huge step back if thats a good win! JP kool aide drinkers unite!

Fallen you bet your ass but we can't go back in time and it is what it is.

It's a win leave the qualifier out beating a team with only 5 other teams ranked below you in the country is not a GOOD win ... It's an embarrassment to refer to that as good win .... I'm not looking for a time machine . I also don't want to be bullshited to either when JP calls this a good win .Is this what it has come to?

I'm not looking for a time machine . I also don't want to be bullshited to either when JP calls this a good win .Is this what it has come to? Yeah, take every little thing said, dissect each phrase and how it was worded. Beating a "shit" team like Marist is a "GOOD' win ? Oh that's right you want to piss and moan about something even when our kids win. Something was said positive about the kids beating another D1 program struggling with re-building and injuries but didn't word it to your friggin' satisfaction. But that's ok because you would have had plenty to say if we had lost that game. You can't lose, you get to piss and moan, belittle positive comments, win or lose. Congrats! What a smart guy, like so many other experts on here. You always have the answer. I'll go out on a limb here at the risk of being insulted and say something like, most of us understand sports comments like "any win is a good win" blah blah blah. If you really don't get it ,you're a lot dumber than I think you are. This post has no real purpose, other than me expressing my own frustration with fair weather fans (maybe that's not totally fair). I know you're a real fan and I usually like your input but I'm getting tired of the insults to other real "fans" because of frustration and attitude. We feel your pain and have been here with you for many years. I feel negative comments like yours are nitpicking and so unnecessary . It's 12:42 AM, I'm going to bed. Hope to see you at the game. I'll be there.
