Let's all be objective. First Fran was a good coach, recruiter but pretty much left the cupboard bare. Yeah real bare—Ryan Rossiter Player of the year- OD Anosike two time NCAA rebounding Champion – Clarence Jackson 6th man of year in MAAC and 2 time all MAAC player- Wignot Downey, Brandon Walter three solid role players—, Poole was committed to program the cupboard was hardly bare in fact that team had more talent than current team has

Give that same team to Patsos and throw in Wright/Long they easily contend for the MAAC championship. Rossiter was arguably the best big man to ever play at Siena. Jackson, OD plus solid role players in Wignot and Downey. It was a crime that team went 13-18 - that was a solid team talent wise.

Question, who did he leave as recruits except Poole. Yes Rossiter was there as well OD, who was essentially one deminsional after that subs. Rossiter there for one year. No the foundation was not solid and Mitch certainly did not help himself.

Old Dave did you vote for Jimmy Carter too?

No the foundation was not solid and Mitch certainly did not help himself. Mitch had - SR - Ryan Rossiter (POY candidate) best big to ever play at Siena SO - OD Anosike (eventual POY candidate) JR - Owen Wignot (Serviceable) SR - Clarence Jackson (All MAAC) PG - JR - Kyle Downey FR - Brookins (Mitch signed) <---- PG Scholarship went here. FR - Trenity Burdine (who committed to Fran) JR - Kyle Griffin JR - Brandon Walters SO - Jonathan Breeden SO - Davis Martens SR - Steven Priestly ALL HE NEEDED WAS A PG add FR - Rob Poole (who committed to Fran) the year after replacing Clarence. the problem is that everyone is judging some of these guys based on their fit to the retard's system. Some of these guys were better players than their careers would indicate. Throw in the mismanagement of the program... guys like Burdine/Brookins probably don't get in the trouble they got in with Fran as the coach.

Guess since everyone thinks the players left by Fran were great what happen. Seems 4 years ago everyone complained about the lack of talent. Sa me as complaining about lack of athletes now. We all know Siena us more athletic than UA and VT so what happen in those games. We gor beat by more fundamental teams Think objectively posters.
