Mitch is no Bush and JP is no Obama. At least I hope not! Very insightful. Thank you. Not sure if this is sarcasm, but I'll take the compliment anyway! If its not a compliment, well Obummer!

TU updated its blog. "Siena said Cole is welcome to return to school when classes resume on Jan 12. Patsos did not set a timetable for his return to the basketball program." Coach speak for he ain't setting foot around Loudonville anytime soon. Actually after Jimmy's interview during the pre-Radford game show, sounds like Cole's gone,

Yes agree seems Cole is gone. Wish the young man well and get his priorities straight. Not sure you can blame Pastos for this year. CBI was definiteky not the blessing he thought, players were are not into mentally.

Has anybody at all had a light bulb go off in their head that maybe these transfers aren't such a good idea? Decades of arguing against these, yet time and time again we hold scholarships for a year and almost never get a return on our investment. 13>12. It's so simple.

The garage sale psychology - one man's garbage is another man's treasure - applies, IMO, to transfers in many cases. Kids always claim they want more playing time - do coaches vet that? I doubt that the coach looking to free up a ship would be honest and say this kid was a recruiting mistake no matter what the reason. I am extremely disappointed in Cole's departure - thought he was a team leader and it now appears he was anything but. Too bad - another case of wasting two year's (if he comes back for classes = highly doubt that) of $'s.

Dave always says: "why is the kid transferring ing the first place?" If it's not because if a coaching change, you have to ask yourself why are they leaving? I never learn. I'm always welcoming anyone to Siena with open arms.

You gave me one last week and, unfortunately, PPC erased its value today. See you Tuesday PM - we can win with what we have left, not all of them but many!

in his pregame interview on Talk 1300 AM tonight, Patsos sounded as though he doesn’t expect Cole back on the team.
“I wish him well,” Patsos said. “There’s no hard feelings, but this is about Siena basketball. … Patrick’s not a bad guy, but it was basically one step forward, two steps back. We gave him a lot of chances. We decided to move on without him.”
