Fired back at Will Brown a bit. "Stop calling it a Siena home game. Was their band there? Were their students sitting on the baseline? They could get as many tickets as they wanted. We had to move season ticket holders for them. Play a game at Sefcu...sure but a game."

Frankly, Jimmy should just shut his mouth and stop worrying about nonsense like this. Will Brown humbled his squad on Saturday night.

JP is entertaining, but unless he is wining people will not be entertained anymore. I thought JP did a great job in coaching the first Fresno game and the team progressed toward March. JPe needs to make some adjustments in staff, attitude, in game coaching, etc., if he is going to be loved by the fans. My greatest fear is that Siena and their ridiculous "Franciscan Way" will tolerate long term mediocrity. Despite winning 4 of the last 5 games , Siena is still way ahead of UA. If UA ever develops a fan base Siena's exclusive lease of the TUC may be over. Siena had a olden opportunity after Fran's three peat to get an A-10 invite. Siena's lack of performance in blowing that opportunity was very amateurish. Priests are lousy businessman!

How is Siena way ahead of UA? Losing 4 of 5 is the definition of behind. Sure, the program has done more but right now the trajectory isn't good.

why is patsos talking about how teams are playing the best of the year. First... YOU DONT PLAY FRIGGIN DEFENSE. EVERYONE will look good.

I couldn't agree more. By JP making drama about a game that woulnt be played until next year he is covering up how bad the team is playing THIS YEAR to many in the capital region. Many as in a common, "I go to Siena games" fans.

in Patsos defense it was Roger who was grilling him on his stance regarding the series.
Patsos knows a) team needs rebounders b) team needs more talent c) he says he knows the team fouls too much. If the team continues to foul and they work on not fouling... it tells me the team speed/athleticism issue continues to rear its head. You play defense with your feet. If you are slow afoot, you arent getting in position to play good D. You then reach and get called for fouls. This team constantly gets bad fouls etc due to being out of position. Again... points to speed/athleticism issues. The fact that just about all of them foul and there are really only two athletic kids getting court time (Wright and Brandwijk) and they arent in foul trouble all the time. Siena is SLOW. Unathletic as a team. Slow to rebound, Slow to get in position on D, Slow to trap, Slow to beat your man off the dribble. All deficiencies that Siena exhibits

Classic deflection. If you are thinking about anything other than how bad the UA game went, then the objective has been met. I didn't see the whole presser (can't find a link) but what I heard (before I walked out of the media room) was all about the future of the game. The deflection started during the press conference Saturday.

How many times you guys going to keep repeating this lie. If Albany wanted, they could play most of their games next season there.

Phew I hope not, 400 people watching a D1 game in 15k arena would look really odd
