I would think with all the recruiting we do in the Baltimore area that we would want to schedule as many games as possible in the area. Keep the exposure going.

I would agree... but it doesn't have to be one opponent. There are a ton of quality teams to play in the DMV area. George Mason, Georgetown, Maryland, George Washington, Towson, Delaware etc

Playing a guarantee game vs Georgetown or Maryland is fine – pretty much two guaranteed loses, basically sacrificial lambs, hardly does much for recruiting to go down there and take a 30 point ass kicking. As for Loyola, they along with St Peters have historically been the poorest draws at the TUC. Loyola just hasn’t been a strong program over the years. I’m not convinced GG will pull them up to strong program status. Plus we already have 4 year contract with Bucknell – you can’t consistently have a non conf schedule full of AE and Patriot league teams, plus a guarantee game or two. Jimmy really needs to get better at the “schedule” game
Towson is pretty good Delaware, George Mason , George Washington -- all programs you can get a return game with—much better than just Loyola- I’d like to see them fall off schedule after this contract.

Loyola is great for the players from the area. And when we play Georgetown and or MD it will be to win. We dont play games that we dont believe we can win.

Llllllllllllllllllllllllllloyola might be great for players— but it sucks for strength of schedule – they suck for draw in Albany – what’s wrong with playing say Towson? Much better program and same area – hell play Towson.. and Delaware and the two Washington area George’s ( Mason and Washington) that would get us in Metro area several times a year and all would be “good” games As for playing Maryland and Georgetown to win-- lets beat AE teams first -- at this point we dont have the talent to play those programs respectable

I think we have the very common tendency to play down to the competition when we are the favorite (ala Vermont). I think we also have the ability to play "up". While I certainly wouldn't expect a win in those types of matchups, I would expect that we could keep it respectable.
