Siena needs to check out Andrew Platek, playing for Corey Osinski's dad at Guilderland. Class of '16 also, 6'4" guard with offers from Fairfield and Yale, and recent interest from Harvard and Quinnipiac. UAlbany offered Platek today according to Verbal Commits.

Mack and him play the same position, and as of last year, I'd only recruit Mack since they do play the same position. I saw Nails light up Platek for 40+ too, and that lack of defensive ability concerned me for the mid-major level. Maybe he's improved his foot speed, and handle? I haven't seen him yet this year. They (Mack/Platek) both have time to get better, or regress. You can try to lock me in to one opinion while you throw out a list of 6 kids we should be recruiting in '16, and calling Heurter one of the "top guards in the country" ESPN just ranked Huerter #73 player in 2016, so yeah, one of the top guards in the country.

You're gonna quote me from Dec 4th, 2014? Wow, are you that desperate to "show me" how smart you are? LMAO The only people that thought Heurter was "one of the top guards in the country" in December of '14 have a personal relationship with him, or the family.

I'm not sure where you think Anthony Mack is going. He isn't leaving Catholic Central as long as his father is the coach. Mack isn't going to Blair like I said months ago? lol The father might've quit, but it was after they decided the son was going the prep school route. Everyone knew Chuck was doing the Little League coaching thing. He'll probably move to NJ to see his kid play, who knows?

Kevin will go higher. Smart move by our coaching staff though! I'm pretty sure that's why Tom said both his boys are going prep and reclassifying, in an article posted here this summer. You, and Tom, got Kevin going to prep school here (because he's going "higher" like you're so proud of now) for the same reason (his body isn't ready), so let's see how that prediction turns out for you.... ....or maybe Kevin improved a LOT over the course of the year, and now doesn't need the extra year of prep school!?

Latest to be offered? Lieb. According to an MTS tweet, we offered Lieb 40 days ago........so May 1st or 2nd?? He has re-classified and is now a '16 kid. Our new assistant should be the point man on this recruitment.

Looks like we have three ships to give for next year. What are the priorities? I would think a center, combo forward, and pure point guard.

If Worm turns out to be solid pure point guard then I agree with HJ that we get an athletic guard, hopefully one with shooting ranges

Wormley will succeed him two seasons from now. The next point guard to join the team shouldn't be on the team while both Wormley and Wright are still present - their freshman season would be totally wasted. The next point guard should thus be a 2017 recruit. In my opinion, the needs for the 2016 class should include a shot blocking 5, an athletic 3, and another wing who's a lights-out shooter (meaning reliability hits 3 pointers at 40% or better).

Sorry counselor I was at every home game so I know what class Wright is in. Sorry I wasn't clear. The recruit will be a freshmen when Wright is s senior and you can't have enough ball handlers and shooters. As I said if Worm turns out to be better than originally advertised than a combo or athletic shooter is more in line.

Much more than just a back-up to 'Quis. I think we may see them together in the backcourt a lot with Niko or RO sliding up to the 3.
