Cant have three starters shooting like that and expect success. Wreaks of poor shot selection.

Long is playing out of position, bisping hopefully was "just" sick, cole is forcing his shots and wright misses too many lay ups. All are fixable, especially against the Maac.

Cant have three starters shooting like that and expect success. Wreaks of poor shot selection. Points per 30 minutes-thru 3 gamesRob Poole - 16.4 Evan Hymes - 16.2 Javion Ogunyemi - 14.4 Ryan Oliver - 13.7 Patrick Cole - 10.8 Brett Bisping - 10.3 Lavon Long - 10.0 Marquis Wright - 8.4 Willem Brandwijk - 5.7 Maurice White - 5.0 Jimmy Paige - 0.0 Essentially 7 or 8 double digit type scorers so far. Once Bisping, Long, and Wright get their FG% up it could be better...although Oliver may not shoot 75% the whole year either... you know depending on how much of a sporting chance he wants to give the mortals.

They Need Oliver and Hymes on the floor more- Oliver has been spot on - Hymes creates with his speed Oliver has been averaging over 26 minutes. He's already practically a starter. Hymes may push down Cole's minutes if Cole keeps playing all over the place and WB plays ok. If you're going with a top 7-8...I'm not sure Cole is in it right now. Wright, Oliver, Poole, Long, Bisping, JO, Hymes is top 7 with WB as 8. That's the group I go with in an important game. They take care of the ball and give you most everything you need. I think each time Cole misses shots and turns it over, he puts himself more and more in the doghouse and Hymes gets his minutes back. He's still our best FT shooter, shoots, and is fast. He has a role. Without Silas' rebounding and shotblocking we can't afford turnovers and giving opponents more chances to attack our weaker D. Go with the guys who give you the most possessions and maximize your team assist ratio. That's Hymes over Cole. Cole and White need to battle it out for that next spot filling in mostly those few combo forward minutes we need to fill. And maybe Paige pushes himself in there at some point.

Only players getting consistent minutes so far is Wright, Long and Poole-- after that Oliver is next in minutes -- I think you'll see different guys next , White, Cole and Hymes minutes will probably vary from game from game depending on who is playing well. The 10 day break should help Mo-- who in the preseason was the most improved player on team ( with JO 2nd) Not sure whats going on with Brett, but have to believe the relapse of Mono, hurt him in 1st 3 games, so hopefully the 10 days helps him get right. WB will play more as season progresses and he gets more comfortable playing D1 ball

But the senior who is making shots and getting assists looks much more appealing when you look down the bench for a guy to put in if the other guys are missing shots and turning it over. At some point they're going to have to step up their games and put up points efficiently or they'll play themselves out of time.

We know Hymes well... some games he will "have it" and some games he wont.. the games he doesn't he wont see much time. I doubt you see Evan getting consistent minutes, but hey if he does he will have to be playing really well because Jimmy has many "options" this year .. and in the end that puts Siena in a strong position
