For 2nd year in a row Saints take home Franciscan cup. Bad news for Bonnies, Siena is still young. What a difference 2 days can make, Saints are not man to man defensive team. Hustle and sharing the ball—this is team I’ve been waiting to see

Great victory. They responded to the bad game and appeared to have righted the ship. NOw the key will be to once again build consistency.

I like this Tony better...like the directv Rob Lowe Cmon Saints...win a ton of games I love to read the swagger of our board moderator! scores.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=400586125Wright with 15 points - 8 assists - only 2 TO Long with a double-double a beast inside 13 points - 11 rebounds - 5 assists - 0 TO - Might have been his best game in his young Siena career Oliver 11 points on just 7 shots in 24 minutes - again very efficient. Poole 12 points (on just 9 shots) - 5 rebounds - 4 steals On the negative 19/32 on the free throw line that has to improve.

Oliver even missing those two in a row from the line.

One of the lessons that should be learned tonight is what low turnovers can do and with the exception of Bisping those that needed to be around in the end were there. Wish we can get out of the late game doldrums...playing not to lose will eventually backfire. Overall a good job preparing for a tough environment at the RC. Another year of sibling bragging rights !!!

Our performance in each of the last 10 minutes of each of the first three games -SUCKS! On Vermont I agree - tonight we held off a tough charging team on the road. Game goes to 4 - we got it back up to 11. Forget the final score. SBU is a good team playing at home they're going to make a run. UMass was a tad better then Siena was and on the road not surprising. Vermont we blew it... hopefully the team and coaching staff learned from that. We need to play zone - why we didn't play more zone against Vermont I don't get. Jimmy is a man to man coach but adapted well playing the zone last year - we have to get back to that until we get more athletic ability.

Rob Poole has 11 steals already. Kid is playing his heart out. Incredible hustle on one steal, crashing into the Bona bench to save it after knocking it away from a Bona player. I heard one Bona fan sitting near me say, "look at that...they just want it more than us!"

A little trivia November 19, 2013 - the one year anniversary of Jimmy's first win at Siena also against St. Bonaventure. Marquis hit the lay-up with a tenth of a second to give Siena the 72-70 win. Tonight Siena wins 73-70. Kinda ironic the symmetry in that (of course Siena led 73-61 with 21 seconds left). www.sienasaints.com/sports/m-baskbl/stats/2014-2015/sie1119.html
