Heading in the right direction. I'm hoping that the Vermont game was just an aberration and not something systemic.

on target, going right direction, with an occasional hiccup. No one should expect a championship this year so if it does happen, we're way ahead of schedule. WB is an excellent example of the recruiting going on, but I must say after last night I'm more concerned with bringing in another shooter at the wing.

Program is headed in right direction- Jimmy is certainly no PW. He will win, he inherited a terrible roster situation . I was concerned a tad on level of his recruiting seems to be improving in that.

Absolutely in the right direction and on schedule.
Two games in November mean very little. The big test will start in December with the 2 MAAC games.

It is what it is. The expectations of some are on the nutty side. Sit back keep your mouth shut and enjoy what happens. Good or bad, that's what fans do. Based on the few games so far this season Siena is no where near as good as many expected. Players that everyone expected to improve haven't showed it yet. I hope some of you take this advice. Relax and enjoy its only a game. The maac board has been entertaining through this tough start You can only tell people to shut their mouth on a message board? Maybe you should heed your own advice. Yet, you still can't answer the question. Surprising.

On schedule and right direction. However some of my initial concerns regarding JP's coaching / X & O's, game mgmt & recruiting etc .. remain, jury's still out.

On target, can't argue with results so far. We'll see what direction we are in. I think the admin is doing just enough to keep season ticket holders happy. Gorvy - I have to ask you about this. Are you talking about a conf upgrade, different coach? What would you expect the admin to do that would go beyond the minimum of keeping the season ticket holders happy? Just trying to understand.

On target.
Over a 30 game(ish) regular season schedule, I believe that every NCAA team has 5 games where they overachieve, 5 games where they underachieve, and for the other 20 they are what they are.
So far we've had an inspired showing (resulting in an expected loss) and a very uninspired showing (resulting in an unexpected loss).
The difference between your run-of-the-mill teams and good teams, is that good teams can still win those games where they underachieve.
Two games is too small of a sample size to be making snap judgments about the season. After Friday everyone was putting the MAAC on notice, then 72 hours later the sky had fallen? I don't buy it. We're somewhere in-between, and that's exactly what I expected.
I'm glad this team has a quick turnaround and a chance to redeem themselves tonight. And I don't even mean that they need to win the game - but they need to show a spark that was lacking on Monday.

They are a very particular style team that is very well coached and fundamentally sound. They will give this team a nasty time of it. We dont face any of those in MAAC play. Old school Marist teams wouldve been the closest comparison. St Peters may give Siena some similar fits although they arent the same as Vermont. If you force this team to live and die from the perimeter/mid range. It will make for a long night. Few teams on the schedule will be capable of that and so Siena should get their fair share of wins

If I didn't tear up my season tickets during the Beyer, Lanier & Mitch years why would I tear them up now?
No, the program is ok. The team/Jimmy will figure it out. Wins will come, they just need to want it more than the VT effort. We were close to being 2-0 (only down 1 to UMass 25 secs to go & up 9 against VT and couldn't close it up by playing hard).

If you think about it, is it a bad thing that the admin is doing just enough to keep season ticket holders happy? It is certainly better than not keeping the season ticket holders happy. I still have my tickets and I am watching them lose games to the AE (along with wins and losses against other similar programs), so the choice seemed appropriate.

What is the 'just enough'? And what more would you want?

If so, what have they done to make you go "wow, I'm getting way more than I deserve!" Is it the Tees for Threes? If so me and MC27 might have one for you next game.
