Maybe because he doesn't want to waste a year of being the 14th guy on a team. This way, when he transfers out he'll have 4 years left (3 1/2 at D-1 if he leaves at Christmas, 4 at D-2 if he sits the whole year).

Don't count out Imoh coming back now for his senior year. Distinct possiblity if we can't find a legit rim protector for '15-'16

Distinct possiblity if we can't find a legit rim protector for '15-'16 Except if you are Imoh and Georgetown offers you a free year of grad school to give them 5 minutes a night off the bench then how attractive does a 5th year at Siena really look?

Imoh doesn't seem like a real outgoing kid to me. Guessing he'd feel a lot more comfortable here in Loudonville than going somewhere new for 9 months.....if he has the choice.

Imoh is a very smart kid who has been thinking about his future since he arrived here. He is a good student and a good person, albeit quiet and reserved. I have to think he realized a masters degree will take him much further than another year in Loudonville getting a second major. He is mature enough to look past leaving friends he has made during his tenure here if the goal is to position himself for a better career in life.

Best of luck to you!

Why did MTS 'like' that post? He's happy one of the best interior defenders and rebounders in the league is leaving us?

If he wants to come back - great you can't teach being a 6'9 shot blocker. If not that's OK too. Since we'll probably have two openings he could come back and we can still sign an athletic shooter.

I'd take him back in a second.....and a scoring wing.

It's still up to him to make a final decision on his options with the staff and anything can happen in a year so at this point it's best for him to heal back to 100% and see how things play out for him personally and for the team situation.

Jimmy knows its a business but he also knows how to stick with bigger names. That being said he will do everything possible not to shaft Cam because who knows Siena could land someone or something based on the relationship with the Gottfrieds.

What is going on with Wolfe? Is he going or staying? Swing and a miss either way. Its part of the game, not every recruit works out.

Per Singelais last night:
@marksingelais For those who have asked about Fr. F Michael Wolfe, he is redshirting and sitting out this season. He is not traveling with the team.

That explains why he wasn't at UMASS, but what about the Vermont game at home??? Or does the 3 mile trek to the TUC constitute 'traveling'??
