And I suppose Lavon is not athletic because he's not a speed merchant. Lavon is athletic just ask the coaches. He is faster than he looks and his verticle is above average #Facts Not to mention very smoooth! The kid is so fluid and graceful for a big man.

Im a realist. This is a nice MAAC team with nice MAAC level talent. Good enough to compete and its going to take a number of things breaking for them to be MAAC champions. Because someone doesnt agree with you or think the team is perfect with no weaknesses doesnt make them a hater. The team has a lot going for it. But it has some limitations. Some of us recognize those and discuss them. Discussing them does not make me a "hater." Those are the kinds of comments coming from someone being extremely defensive and attempting to obscure the truth for whatever reason. Your denying the team's weaknesses will not prevent them from being exposed on the court. I have not denied weaknesses I said we will improve on them. You are pesimistic and that is what makes you a hater. Along with the constant comments about me being a parent. I am also a fan and have no problem accepting criticism or difference of opinion. Your problem is that you dont know the difference between facts and opinions. These guys don't need me to defend them but this has been bothering me for awhile. PPC, It is very unfair to call someone a hater because their opinions differ from yours. Why is it we now label people and resort to name calling if we don't step in line and follow along faithfully? This is all a discussion for another forum but for you to call folks who have been supporting the team for years haters because they don't agree or will question your opinion is ridiculous. KK is a walking abacus, SF as been paying attention to the team for years and you watch and support this team with wreckless abandon. Everyone of you bring up valid points in the critique of the team. The season will start soon enough and we will see who's got the best take on things. Personally, I'm a realist, I like to have all the facts, just not the sound bites that make things look perfect. We aren't being disrespectful, quite the opposite I'm sure. We love basketball, especially "Siena basketball" . We are all fans who just have slightly differing opinions on certain things, let's drop the hater stuff and get back to discussing one of our favorite pastimes. Go Saints!

You are right SF does not need you to speak for him. I explained why I called him a hater. It has nothing to do with having a different opinion as I explained. Please reread my post to get a better understanding. And judge yourself please Also I never called KK a hater so why add him? KK is a true Siena fan that loves stats. We disagree alot....its just life

Go Saints.

Well you miss read because SF was the only poster I directly called a Hater not everyone who disagrees with me like you just said. SF knows what I am talking about. His tone has changed back to Mr negative confusing opinions with facts. We met at the CBI and I thought we had come to an agreement on a few things he has now switched up on. Oh well

Flattery will get you everywhere.
Bostonfan could have some competition for my highly sought after Consigliere position!
Or perhaps the Edge just prefers to be my Enforcer.
Welcome to Team KK.
You'll get your complementary team ankle warmers in the mail.

I actually agree with PPC. Some posters, Saintsfan being an example, focus on what they think the players can't do rather than what they can. Few guys in the MAAC are complete players, they all have strengths and weaknesses. Further, all teams have their strengths and weaknesses. The best teams figure out how to maximize what they are good at and hide/minimize what they struggle with.
This team will be pretty good because they play with Patsos like intensity, rebound and defend as well as anyone in the maac and, finally, have experienced, talented players at every position on the floor. They'll be a great team if Jimmy is able to get them all to buy into their roles.

Oh well She apparently thought she convinced me to take on her opinion regarding the team. I did not and not quite sure how she came to believe I did. I felt is was more of an agree to disagree situation. The team is a solid maac team. I do hope to see more from patsos when all is said and done.

Will be interesting to see how Jimmy blends the talent this year-- we should be really deep. The type of season we have will be directly proportional to how jimmy takes advantage of that depth. We know we will play good D and rebound-- can we get more efficient on offense and score a few more buckets a game? If we do watch out, I've said all along if our avg is up around 75 ppg or higher Siena will win the MAAC this year
