It's going to be fun seeing the changes in our boys physically but also in how they have worked on their game. I've noticed that even Evan looks pumped up. He looks like he's developed some "guns" in the weight room this off-season. Nov. 8th can't come soon enough.

Hopefully the seniors - poole, hymes and Silas go out on a high note, they deserve it.

My comment from the MAAC board: Wright was a career 29% shooter on 271 attempts in HS. He shouldn't be taking a lot of threes but if he gets back up to 30% so he's at least a threat, that makes Siena that much better. But I'm not that concerned with it.
He improved his assist ratio, rebounding, block, & steal output year over year in HS...like clockwork. I think those are the most likely things to get better. He'll be stronger, used to the players and offense around him, and a year wiser.
I just want those things and maybe his FT% to improve and Siena will be a tough out. He doesn't need to shoot much from three.
He is elite for his peripheral stats, not his shooting.
He could be a potential future defensive player of the year.
If you take his HS steal rate and apply it to a 30 game schedule it's over 100 steals per year. I'm really anxious to see if some of that upside translates. Plus, he had a ridiculous 8 blocks in the CBI last year (he hit his head on the backboard on one of them). He has some upside there too due to his energy and the 22 blocks per year he averaged the last 2 years of HS.
