It's all going to come down to the games and what's working...what's not. Paige has a lot going for him because of the fact that, on paper, he seems more well rounded than those he's competing with for time.
Cole is the teams' wild card. Which guy is he?
Still not hearing Brandwijk's name in the top 10...I'm a little sad. I'm hearing a lot of guards' names though. Patsos' could be leaning going small early....sorry PPC.
If Lavon goes PF a lot, scoring will go up. JO goes to the bench quick like Silas and Saints bring in the scorers off the bench.

You'll see WB in the playing rotation this season. He's the only other offensive-minded big man besides Bisping and he's a shooter. They can't afford to not play him.

Lavon will start at the 3 and play 3/4 for the next 3 years. I will not worry about how many mins he plays at each position. His versatility will get him time and the matchup will dictate how much he plays and where. He is a G/F or a true SF for Siena

Today's Patsos on Wyland: www.foxsports980.com/onair/rodger-wyland-1777/jimmy-patsos-siena-basketball-coach-1021-12884918/Some highlights: - Cole, Oliver are coming on strong, Cole has been playing some 3 & 4, sees him as a match-up problem. - Jimmy Paige really coming along, becoming someone that could help this year. - Sounds like they're still pushing to get a game w/ Cuse, even if it's just a guarantee game at the Dome. - Talked about Gary Williams coming to town. Flying in today & taking off this evening, basically just coming to town to see Patsos & the Siena team, except... - Gary Williams & Jim Burr are getting together tonight before Williams leaves LOL. Wonder what Big Game Burr is like on a rainy Tuesday with no cameras around. - This Sunday 7 PM they're having an open intersquad scrimmage. Did I hear correctly, there's a player coming in for a visit next week? Anyone guess/know who's coming?

Oliver sounds like the heralded 6th man right now. Cole is back up PF. WB sounds banged up? PG-Wright - Oliver SG-Poole - Hymes SF-Long - White PF-Bisping - Cole C-Ogunyemi - Silas Sounds like Paige is next and fighting with White and Cole.

That lineup makes no sense. Only 3 big men in the entire playing rotation? Unless he plans on playing Bisping and Ogunyemi 35 minutes a piece, I think WB is likely to get into the regular playing rotation at some point as the season progresses - especially with Long and Silas being fouling machines.

Makes perfect sense to me—I’ve been telling you guys Oliver- White and Hymes have been playing really good—in fact if I was to list players after top 4—I’d put those 3..then JO, WB and Paige- will get an opportunity as season wears on—look for Brett to play a lot at 5—so we can get Hymes Oliver and White time

I'm all for going small. I'm a little leery about Cole defending a PF though. I could think of someone else probably more equipped.
Still, the way big JP has fawned over little jp the last few weeks on Wyland, he's just waiting to give him his chance. A bad game or 2 by somebody and he'll get it.

I think it will work itself out..Jimmy sounded pretty confident on the top 10.. I've seen several practices and I have to agree with what Jimmy is saying... remember what PPC always says playing time is earned in practice the top 7 players in practice have been Poole- Wright-Long- Bisping- Oliver- White- Hymes probably in that order.. and that doesn't mean JO- Paige or WB are playing bad--- just the others are playing better it's early November ... and dont read too much into this things change as both WB and Paige are talented -- Paige has come light years the last month ..WB is a bit banged up both will get an opportunity as will Silas -- if they perform and someone slips they can "crack" playing group

After watching today's practice I'm sure we will see a lot of W B. In scrimmage he threw down a spectacular reverse dunk from a standstill. Later Michael Wolfe threw down an on the run alley oop from Evan. I have never before seen anything like either dunk from a Siena player and have never seen anything like W B's from any opponent. Oh yeah I forgot our team lacks athleticism
