Jon Rothstein at UMASS practice this morning. A few tweets from him:
@jonrothstein UMass' top 6 guys appear to be good enough to compete for an NCAA bid. Beyond that though is a major question. Depth an unknown in Amherst.
@jonrothstein This is the year that Trey Davis becomes one of the best PG's in the A 10. Always under control. Makes timely shots. Underrated player.
@jonrothstein Under-the-radar A 10 breakout guy --- UMass guard Demetrius Dyson. Going to play expanded minutes as a sophomore. Good size + skill at 6-5.
@jonrothstein Early prediction on UMass starting five --- Trey Davis, Derrick Gordon, Demetrius Dyson, Maxie Esho, Cady Lalanne....
@jonrothstein Jabarie Hinds should benefit from UMass' accelerated pace. A faster tempo means more possessions and more opportunities. 6th man?

MTS, see you on the bus.! ? Would appreciate any info available about the bus trip. Cost, time of departure, etc. Can somebody post it please? Bus to UMass is almost sold out. Siena Ticket Office staff ordered 50 tickets from UMass; now have 53 people wanting to go. Siena ticket people are requesting five more tickets. Assuming we get them, then we'll have 55 tickets for 55 seats on the bus. Bus leaves from Siena (parking lot next to first-base side of the baseball field) at 3:30 on game day. Reason for early departure is that BBL is hosting a pre-game reception at the game site, beginning at 5:30. Cost for the reception is $15 a person. Most of the people on the bus are going to the reception. Cost for the bus is $40: $19 for the bus; $21 for the game ticket. No money is paid until the bus is on the road to the game. Payment can be made in cash or check. Send me a PM with a name and e-mail address if interested in going.

Thanks for the info, folks. I would likely have 2 to 4 people. We may drive out on our own. My kid doesn't get out of school in time to catch the bus, anyway. I hope to catch a bus at some point this season, though.

Isn't there a Giants van floating around the CD that could be converted to a "Saint's Shuttle"?
