Beautiful, Mo was already good at going to rim, with a little more size and strength he will be a handful for MAAC teams. I expect a really good year out of Mo this year and if he can IMPROVE HIS Jumper—watch out

And Mo is a great rebounder and getting stronger will only help add to the put back points he will get.

And Mo is a great rebounder and getting stronger will only help add to the put back points he will get. The advantage White would have over Paige is speed. The advantage Paige may have over White is shooting. They are both the exact same size on paper. If Paige doesn't shoot well and White finishes a little better he could win the PT battle just due to pure speed for pressing purposes. If team scoring/shooting is still an issue and White's not doing it but Paige is, Paige wins. Same with Oliver. If White puts in the time and shoots well, then he has the advantage over all the other 2 guards physically. I will be rooting for that to happen as it will mean the team will improve that much more. Jimmy can't go with a shooting guard who can't shoot the three next to a point guard that can't shoot either. This is White's predicament and he needs to fix it. It seems he knows this and that's good.

Do me one favor when is season start I want you to eat your words and get on here and apologize to everybody. KK. I love when you count my son out.We have something to prove to you. It seems he knows this and that's good. Since you haven't seen Paige play-- have no idea how much White has improved , no idea how much Wright has improved .. hard to draw any conclusions. Like I've been saying all spring its going to be very difficult for Paige to get any time. And that's not a knock on Paige-- its more a testament to talent ahead of him. The much more reasonable "take" is for Paige to get any meaningful time this year he is going to have to be a very very good player. The competition for playing time at the 2/3 will be intense. It is without a doubt our deepest position I know we all get our 'favorites" etc but its almost impossible to predict the playing group next year outside a few players. No need to bad mouth any players- I'm ecstatic we have several players capable of helping us win next year- good chance from 1-13 Siena is the deepest team in the MAAC next year - that in itself is great news considering where Siena was 2 short years ago talent wise with PW

Wow. I think that was a fair post. I acknowledged White's strengths.
I said if White improves, I will be happy.
I have nothing against White. Everyone knows I've stuck up for Hymes since Day 1. And even I think his minutes are going down. People may take offense at my analysis but I feel I'm pretty fair about it.
It's not personal. If Maurice wants to get better to spite me, well golly gee, I guess I should be a coach. Hey it worked last year with PPC making Lavon shoot FTs all summer.
Punish me. Please.
How about they win a title. That will really teach me.

I will admit that my prediction is not based on any insider information, rather just a gut feeling from watching these players last year: Maurice White will see his minutes increase and will solidify a spot in Jimmy's regular rotation of players mainly because of his ability to rebound and defend against big guards and athletic small forwards. When the season is over, I predict White will log more total minutes and more MPG than Hymes, Silas, JO and Oliver. In fact, I think he'll be right behind Coles in terms of MPG. I think Coles is going to have some difficulty getting back into form because of the year off from games and the recent injury. But, where will White's extra minutes and Cole's new minutes come from? Even if Hymes never gets off the bench, that is not enough to give both Coles and White significant minutes. So, I also think Poole will move from 34MPG to about 30 and I even think Wright will move down from 35MPG to about 32. With "fresher legs," I think you'll see an improved FG% from Poole and more dribble penetration from Wright; With these two guards producing offensively, Oliver's 3-point touch will be less valuable compared to White's ability to matchup defensively against athletic players. I think you'll see Oliver continue to improve and he'll get his minutes as a senior in Poole's absence, but White is going to earn more minutes next year on pure defensive grit. In terms of distributing playing time, Siena has a lot of issues and questions marks that other teams wished they had. I guarantee Quinnipiac doesn't have a message board topic devoted to two players who are as talented as Hymes and White who might have to share 20MPG because of the other talent around them.

You have a bless day. I'm done with it. Wouldn't surprise me to see Paige redshirt. Then he basically replaces Poole in '15-'16 Don't think anyone is going to red-shirt. The only guy I could see is Wolfe because I don't see him getting many minutes next year and it would balance out the classes. Wolfe would then get Silas minutes in 2015-2016. Don't see Wolfe playing much this year but still like his potential a lot. Paige has a D1 ready body as a frosh and can shoot the ball. If he can come off the bench and give us some instant offense that would be great. I could see him putting up the numbers Clarance Jackson gave Siena as a frosh 8.4 MPG and 3.7 PPG but shooting at a decent clip. You can pretty much pencil in Wright for 30 minutes, Long for 26-28, Poole for 25-27, Bisping for 25-27 and Cole for 20-22. That's 126-134 minutes right there. I expect White and JO to see plenty of time. Hymes minutes will be at PG spelling Wright. Paige will battle Oliver for most of his PT with Oliver getting an edge as a junior. Brandwijk and Silas will battle for minutes. JO and Brandwijk are probably ahead of Imoh or will be my midseason. Going to be extremely tough for Gottfried to see any minutes unless he can handle some PG. We have 14 guys who could legitimately play in the rotation but only 10 are going to see meaningful minutes. We have super quality depth on this team. But injuries and foul trouble can happen. That is why I would not red-shirt a guy like Paige.

You're making my argument for me. Wright and Poole will play more than you think (34 min each). I think Cole, White and Oliver are ahead of Paige right now. Cole comes in at he 2/3 for offense, and White for defense. Oliver has proven he can be valuable shooter off the bench. The freshman Paige has the toughest road to get minutes. When Poole and his 34 graduate, it'll be easier to get some. Plus he'll be much more prepared to play.
Wolfe still makes the most sense in order to balance the classes, and gain valuable time to work on his body and his "X and O" aptitude, BUT looks like they wanna see what he can do this year.
The two seniors (Hymes and Silas) look to be the ones getting lost in this deep shuffle of talent.
