Looks like he will visit. Probably developed a good relationship with Jordan when he was at JMU. ALso, Deane would probably help us too.

yeah Jordan has to be the hook--some more on Bessick-- kid must have a huge upside Bessick has already heard from the likes of Old Dominion, Siena, Iona, New Mexico State, Tulane, Florida International, Miami (OH), San Jose State and Saint Joseph’s and Temple James Madison posted an 11-20 record this past season, which didn’t cut it for Bessick. Despite putting up solid numbers with 6.3 ppg (shot 50 percent from the field), 4.7 rpg in 22.2 mpg during his sophomore campaign, it still wasn’t satisfying for Bessick. “I’ve been talking with Siena a lot recently,” Bessick stated. “I’ll likely take my first or second visit to Siena. I’m not really sure where else I’m going to visit just yet. That’ll take a little bit more time to think about.” temple.247sports.com/Article/Taylor-bessick-recruiting-update-28137606

6'9" SF. Anyone else thinking could be somewhat of another Eddie? I know Eddie was only 6-6 or 6-7, but 6-9 and skills of a SF sounds pretty good for a MAAC player.
I always wondered "what if" Wolfe would/could play SF? He seems athletic enough and can shoot , just don 't know if he's a SF ball handler. (which he could work on ). I know they're probably grooming him for PF but wondered if he could be a SF .

I have to imagine we are a long shot for Bessick- I dont think we are losing any players so we have no ships for next year- he'd have to get some sort of financial aid for a year- tough sell when others are offering a full ride

As Tony pointed out, we have no scholarships left to give. However, Jimmy has been pretty resourceful, so never say never. From reading the temple247 article, the allure of playing in the Big Five may be the ultimate deciding factor.
I would also note for what it is worth, that the addition of Bessick would put him in the Class of 2017 along with Wright, Long, White, Ogunyemi, Wolfe and Cole, which would mean seven scholarship players in one class, absent a redshirt for Wolfe or another departure. Bessick would have to be a real difference maker to justify further class imbalance, IMHO.

Interesting prospect with some good names after him. Bessick could be a replacement for Imoh after the 2014-2015 season. Of course it will be tough since we don't have a scholarship to use on him next year when he would have to sit out unless Siena can get creative.

Pass.....too many negatives, and it's unrealistic at this point. We've got our team, and we need to bring in two quality kids next year, not kids avg 6ppg on an 11 win team.
Program difference makers only at this point.
