To quote Nacho Libre: Maybe Siena should move to a real station. One that has some signal strength. Maybe we could hear games outside of Albany. Agree with all of you about PV, but we got the game on that station way far down the thruway, lost it right before Poughkeepsie. Then, we were able to download their app on a very shaky data connection and listen to the last 12 minutes. So, I'm fine with them continuing to broadcast the game. I live in Rotterdam. As soon as I'm off the Thruway the signal turns to crap, especially for night games. Maybe they cut their signal at night. Who knows. I'm at the games, but like to listen to the post game call in show.

Why are you listening to that station to begin with? Who cares if they don't like Siena just don't listen.

The only time I listen is for Siena games and postgame shows. Other than that, I have no use for the station.

Also, there was a bit of a pissing contest between Singelais and D'arg on twitter, with Singelais being snarky about Siena "buying" themselves the CBI title.

It was less with D'Arg than it was with the Saints twitter account. Singelais has been a wet blanket about this whole tournament. I, for one, didn't appreciate his tone throughout the whole thing.

interesting comments in the article that imply the MAAC may have thrown in some cash for the run.

You are right. Singelais was throwing a few digs out there and D'arg basically felt the need to finally defend the school. It got dropped very quickly, almost like a phone call was made.

He has does that all year! And Siena has been really good him-giving him a media spot at the " Siena Basketball Media Lunch " each and every week. I honestly would love to someone else get the gig! Maybe NEWS10's Liana Bonavita or CBS 6's Kelly O'Donnell ! Maybe they would appreciate it more!

If Singelais is opposed to buying games he should start with the BCS schools that buy 10 victories each and every year. At least Siena played teams that were competitive with them to get the wins, the BCS teams buy guaranteed victories over outclassed/noncompetitive teams and then tout 20 "win" seasons.

Exactly Bill...look at SU and Jim Boeheim (not to pick on them many do it but as an example) probably over half of his wins were "bought". Siena did not "buy" anything other than the right to host the games. Other than Stony Brook all the teams were from higher rated leagues. The BCS teams literally buy wins pitting NBA players against low-major teams. Plus it seems Singelais missed Siena's win in Fresno, California last Monday night (forgot the TU cheapened out and he wasn't send to cover it).

Wyland was actually complimentary in his asinine manner. Still stating that he wasn't sure about Jimmy at the beginning of the season. On a lighter note the Latham strip joint Nite Moves has a congratulatory message on its roadside sign.

And when the BCS schools buy their games they get to PICK THEIR OPPONENTS - Singelais is too dumb to realize the big difference.
