Game is tied under 12 minutes to go... Penn State's guards are not very good especially for the Big 10.

Penn State hangs on 69-65 to win. Bring on the Nittany Lions. If Siena comes out ready to go with a nice crowd I like our chances to advance!

Very entertaining game between Iona and La tech-- of course Iona lost by a point - programs like Iona don't win post season games-- whats it been 35 years or so since they have a post season win that wasn't vacated?

Wow English's shot almost went in from about 65 feet. Poor Gaels.
Quinny lost tonight... barring a Manhattan run to the sweet 16... Siena will be the last MAAC team playing.

Feel free to bring green and gold balloons or any variation thereof....I've waited 14 years for Siena to play happy valley again...maybe our flagship radio station will rethink it's postseason strategy and have a call in show after the game...I really hope Lee and Huerter are doing the games next year somewhere else on the dial...talk about a flagship station not taking advantage of and embracing this fine basketball program....during off basketball hours, instead of proudly representing the Saints, all I hear is skepticism, doubt, and even a little ridicule...hopefully you all know what I'm talking about because I'm not here to sling mud...just calling it like I hear it...not looking for incessant homerism and hucksterism (go down the dial a little for that if you like) just deserved respect on your FLAGSHIP STATION.

Flagship! More like a hamster powered birch bark canoe... A guide to "listening" to PV - no matter what he says, go with the 180 degree opposite view and you'll be money ahead. Station had promised to actually power a signal that meets minimum standards for people that live more than 1 mile or 2 from the clothes hanger transmitter. Would have had to buy two or three more hamster wheels and little fuzzy creatures to turn them.

Siena Steve couldn't be more right. Been saying that all year. Announcers are great, ever listen to 980, Wayland is terrible, remember Pastos asking him a question regarding a highly regarded UA player and Wyland couldn't give the name, he terrible. 1300 broadcast range is terrible.
Challenge is that 1300 owned by a few Siena grads. For whatever reason 980 hasn't made a move. No reason why they can't broadcast both UA and Siena. They control 3 stations in the area. A lot of lost revenue for them in regards to Siena. With Siena being the biggest draw in tjemarea why not bod on the games.
Vandenberg basically only a mouth. Not a businessman. Just listen to him contradict himself. Most times just need to turn him off.

Lucky for me, signal does not reach Saratoga. But very frustrating that I lose the post game call in shows as soon as I pass exit 13 on the way home! Ugh! Loyalty to alums is one thing, but not for an inferior product.

Is this a political thing or a signal strength issue? I agree the signal strength could be better. The Siena game broadcasting is done well. I can't say I really care what station it is on or that it really matters. As far as Vandeburg, from what I know he is a big Siena bb fan and wants the team to be successful as we all do.
