Let's see...Voy forums, Arborwood, which others preceded this one?
Been around forever. Great stuff too. I remember in the dark days before message boards I had to wait anxiously for the TU writeup after every game. Now I can celebrate or b*tch real-time. Technology is great!

I've been around since the Voy board. Stumbled upon it while searching for the Siena athletics website. I've followed the program since my freshman year in 87. I was friends with Marc Brown and Bobby Gordon in college and I was president of the then Tee-pee Rowdies my junior and senior years.

Started posting on the Times union boards and found this on my travels. Once I figured out the proboards android app I was hooked.
Thanks to Tony and all the other residents of this board.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using proboards

I'd like to add my thanks to Tony and everyone who puts in time on the site. I read it daily during the season (October thru March) and it kept me going during last year's "dark days" as a Saints fan.

Honestly can't recall...I remember the Arborwood forum. Grew up in Hoosick Falls a Siena fan, as my dad was an alum ('51)...we had season tickets since the ARC opened. I graduated from Siena in '83. I knew former player John Hayden growing up in Hoosick Falls, roomed with players Doug Poetzsch, Chuck Brower, Brian Smith my senior year. Working in Western NY since '84, I always felt so out of touch prior to the internet. Finding the board online, I was able to keep up on the team. Thanks to all.

First of all, thanks Tony for this board. It's nice to have a place where the truth of the Siena basketball program is spoken. Gets my mind off my work, which can be extremely stressful.
I stumbled into this board I think during the Siena Saints blog days (the blog is dead now I think). I would visit as anonymous and then I became the one and only Diamonddog (in honor of the ol Albany-Colonie Diamond Dogs).
Won't mention my graduating class, but a very recent Siena grad.
Been to the NCAA tournament live twice- saw Siena whip Vandy (lost to Villanova) and then "Onions! Double Order!" (Lost to L-ville)

It was awile ago (I can't remember which coach it was Lanier or Fran) but Tony stopped by to talk to Mr. Siena and I overheard and asked what they were talking about. I believe they were on the arborwood site at that time. I rarely went on back then and didn't sign up until a few months before the new site (Proboards) came up.
My work blocked it way back when and still does. My old coputer back then suckes. It wasn't until we got our new computer and then the iPhone that I started viewing it more and then decided to create an account.

Been around lurking since rivals and voy. When we moved to arborwood I started helping tony out and then coded a lot of the godaddy site. I really liked that one as it allowed tony and I to get real creative with game matchups and news/recruiting etc right on the front page. Godaddy as an ISP was very unreliable and many a late night/early morning getting the site back up. The move to proboards has taken a lot of head aches away but its taken a lot of creativity with it. I had coded a good portion of an online siena basketball quiz show for the godaddy site but oh well... maybe someday ill convert it to something portable to here.

I've been on since the rivals days as NYSaintFan or MASaintFan, depending on where life brought me.
Thanks to mikec, nolesaint (voice), SaintsFan, Tony, and anyone else who has helped manage these forums - they kept me in touch with the program when living out of town.

Sometime during the early Fran years through other Siena fans. I heard this places was full of nutjobs back then, lol. Yeah it was full of people predicting 3 straight MAAC titles, winning first round games, even predictions of players getting NBA shots. I mean people had even claimed Fran was going to pull over $500,000. Those people were so off the deep end...it was unreal
