Season ticket holder since John Griffin's days. Stumbled on Sienahoops.com during Lanier's last year or two - the exact timing is a blur. It provided a nice "shoulder" to lean and bitch on. Chose the name due to the fact that I "miss"ed the ability to go to "practice" when Paul took over - he gave access to only the last hour of practice and that was extremely hard to predict - smart move on his part. Had been a regular during Mike's tenure and to a degree when Beyer was here, he and I used to work out together in the MAC. I soon soured on going to his practice's as his personality took a dive in the wrong direction as a head coach - similar to the last person to hold that position prior to Jimmy.

I can't recall how I stumbled across the site. I was glad though, trying to have conversations at the TU blog were insane. I think I actually found the Reindeer or the MAAC site first and lept over from there.
Pretty sure I lurked around for awhile. There wasn't much of a need to post during the Fran years but .....................

I found it about the same time as Misspractice. I used to listen to college hockey internet broadcasts when I used to travel (it was a trip to listen live to a game being played the night before when I was in Oz 13 hours ahead)and was "googling" looking to see if there was a Siena broadcast on and a link came up to the "voy" site I think. It has been an interesting 10 -12 years reading what other fans have been thinking.

First of all, many thanks to Tony !
This Board has always been a great source of infomation on Siena hoops !
Coming up on 50 years since I graduated from Siena in '64; my two oldest sons also Siena grads ( '88 and '93 grads)
I found out about the Board reading an article about Tony in Times Union years ago and have been reading the board since then but just recently started posting.
I am heading up from Virginia to Mass for the MAAC Tourney
GO SAINTS !

Around the time after the 2000 season just when Paul Hewitt had taken the Georgia Tech job. I remember Siena losing a heartbreaking MAAC tournament game at the Pepsi to Iona (that game still burns me!) before losing in the NIT to Penn State. MikeC ran rivals on the front page was the headline "No Garden party for Siena". I've been on the board ever since..wow 14 years already? A lot of highs and some lows but I love the Siena board. It gives our program's fans a good forum to discuss our beloved Siena Saints!

Siena Memories Dan Cunha, Gibbons Hall... Siena vs Albany State at the Armory.. Fr Ben riding around the campus on his bicycle 1989 at the NCAA with my sons...ACC fans at arena asking us to tell them about Siena that got their attention with their upset of Stanford... 1994 NIT and seeing Green and Gold everywhere at MSG as fans arrived on buses and trains for NIT semi-final vs Villanova... 2008 Siena holds SEC POY Shane Foster to 13 points in NCAA first round and beats Vanderbilt 2009 Moore with Onions Double Order in 2 OT to beat Ohio State... Siena Hoops a proud history and tradition that goes back a long time www.collegepollarchive.com/mbasketball/ap/seasons.cfm?seasonid=1951#.UmbPTtKsh8E

Jack S. & ? my, I am bad with names, worked together with the maac hotsheet and as Tony mentioned I NoleSaint, formerly Voice, got sucked in, along with Chiboy, and have loved almost every minute of it. May not have ever let go of it but when I moved out of the area I knew Tony was the guy I wanted to take it over and I haven't regretted that decision for a single second in the last 12 years.
