No question, I would love to have the Saints take one more shot at Canisius. I don't like teams centered around one player and I think Manhattan plays very unselfishly. Beating the Griffs would be awesome!!! Go Saints !

The Griffins.
First contest...we almost made the game interesting at their place, even though we were behind by a lot.
Second contest...very, very close in beating them.
As I have said, guard everyone else and hope Baron is off.
Manhattan has a lot of weapons...remember, they made the championship game last year.

Boy, it's never easy!! I think I'd rather have Canisius, although I think this team could win over either of them. We would need to hold down Baron and Perez. Our bigs have to be smarter than theirs and our guards have to go at them to get their bigs in foul trouble. Hoping that will shake them up. It will be tough to knock out the team with the most likely player of the year on it, but we could be a mini-MAAC Cinderella right to the Finals. disclaimer -- IndianSaint and I have NOT had a beer together yet this season so this is a totally sober assessment! This is too funny. I too believe we can beat both (if we play hard for the 40 mins), but I'd rather play Canisius since they've beaten us twice. We should have won that home game and I'd like to revenge that game. Plus I can't stand Barron (either of them). Their good, but that's why I'd like to beat them. Manhattan on the other hand I root for when we're not palyign them. Unfortunatelly, with the injuries, I'm thinking Canisius may win Sun so we'll end up playing Manhattan next Sat. Hope i'm wrong because I really want to have a chance to beat them. Then we can revenge Iona (had that game won at home too). disclaimer - I have two beers in me, but that doesn't matter since I always think we're going to win and it doesn't matter who we're playing.

Either game will be tough-- but I pick Canisius-- I think Jaspers are more talented( although I might change this pick if Alvardo is going to miss game) Griffs are so much Billy Baron-- and I could regret this since he can drop 40 on us ( oh yeah he already did) but a team with one player can always have an off day. Jaspers have several good to very good players- plus what are the odds they shoot free throws that bad again? No way we sneak up on Jaspers- while Griffs might be a tad complacent since they beat us twice. Either way going to be a very difficult game for a very young team Barron only dropped 40 on us due to playing 15 extra mins against us. It would have been more impressive if he could have that in a 40 min game, IMO. Jaspers are a funny team, they turn the ball over alot. They cause turnovers and score on those TOs. But, they too committ to many TOs. If we can make them play half ourt BBall, they're not that good. They're better at pressing and turning the ball over for fast break points, JMO. We can beat both of them if we can play like we did the past 3 games.

Canisius for sure. We owe them one..already beat Manhattan once so they will give us their best.. Billy boy still thinks he can beat us by himself. Plus Brown is a beast inside for Manhattan.

Anyone watching the Canisius/Manhattan game on ESPN3? Canisius just cut the leas to 1 with about 11 to go.

Tied with 2:55 to go. Loser plays Siena on Saturday, winner gets the 2-seed and winds up in the apparently sideways Quinnipiac bracket.

Manhattan up 3 with 27.7 seconds left. Manhattan playing without Alvarado, btw.
