Is it just me, but listening & watching coach Barron in the post game interview he looked & sounded like Mitch (but with a mustache).

Nice to wrap up the #5 seed but still a big game Sunday against Monmouth.
What's at stake:
-First 4 game winning streak since 2009-2010 - Winning record in MAAC - 10-4 home record - 15th win most since 2009-2010
Monmouth whipped Niagara 75-50 at home tonight to end a 9 game losing streak. Saints can't take the Hawks lightly. We played a poor game in a 63-59 loss back on January 2nd.
Let's stay hot going into the MAAC tournament!!!!

That loss to Monmouth is prob the best thing that has happened all season. Our guys will not take this game for granted. Glad we are at home Go Saints!

MAAC Injuries: Quinny's Umar Shannon out for the rest of the season www.nycbuckets.com/2014/02/umar-shannon-season-ending-surgery/ Manhattan lost senior point guard Mike Alvarado to a sprained left ankle in the first half of last night's game. Alvarado’s left ankle “swelled up” after a hard drive to the basket, Manhattan coach Steve Masiello said, and he was set to undergo X-rays later Friday night. His status moving forward is unknown.

In my book, this season will now have to be compared favorably with those first Siena seasons under Paul and Fran. The speed in which this program has been resurrected is quite impressive. It is such a pleasure to walk into the Palace on Pearl again and know this. Has Siena run a bus or 2 to previous Springfield MAAC tourneys? The most enjoyable times I've ever had following Siena hoops were the bus trips to MAAC tourneys in Buffalo and even Trenton.

SienaSteve several are asking about bus trip over to MASS, I would think that there might be something posted by the AD regarding trips (or there should be at least a line cast to check out the interest level). Keep checking sienasaints.com. If I come across any info I will be happy to share. Nothing would be better than to show these kids and the staff how much we appreciate bringing the joy back to Mudville!

I'm looking into hotels in Dayton (since that's where I'm hoping Siena will play after Springfield). I tried to get Frank to look into a bus for the NCAA PIG.

I'm not aware of any bus trips to Springfield this year or the past two years) The only possible bus trip was when we played UMass at Springfiled Mitch's second year, but none to the MAAC tournament in Springfield that I'm aware of.

In the past when there was interest the school ran bus trips to thw MAAC tournament. Remember the buses to Harbor Yard Fran's second year? No disagreement here (busses ran to Buffalo a couple of times and Fran's 2nd year to Bridgeport), but I never seen any bus trips to Springfield the past two years. The first two times at Buffalo I believe thay had bus trips (tahts how I went). Bridgeport sent the 3 or 4 student busses Fran's 2nd year for the Fianls against Niagara. I think they even had a bus to Dayton, but not sure they ever did for Springfield (which is odd since it's the closest tournament location except for TUC). Probable no interest the past two years fans find excuses not to go to away games when we're loosing. Heck I ended up not going to Navy and a few other road games the past couple years for the same reason. Maybe this year (with the new intest) they may actually get a bus trips going.
