I was thinking that too. I hope it's not something more which may lead to him leaving. I like Evan , but I'm sure Jimmy could find someone as good or better (finished product after 3-4 yrs of work ). I only read your quote of Patsos, so this may be reading something out of context, but you could read his comment to mean he knew Wright was going to be good and Poole was going to be good and that Hymes would improve from his past years (and be good as well). I didn't think he meant he expected Hymes to be better than he turned out, but better than his previous years, which is still good. I like this explanation better. I like Hymes, like rooting for the little guy. I'll be able to root for Cruz this Sunday.

I don't regret the old spice even if it means no tourney. In our socialist maac it was simply our turn and it gave a chance for the new guys to bond. We don't play for the cit anyway, as nice as it is. I like the OSC from a fans perspective, watching us play BCS type schools, enjoying the warm weather & sites. Plus we don't have to wait 10 yrs to get back there since many of the MAAC schools are too cheap to go. Better for us.

Then it's shame on me

We don't play for the cit anyway, as nice as it is. I agree. In addition, people are forgetting or discounting the benefit of playing in the old spice with the tough competition. It got these kids ready for Maac play. Who knows we may have had more OOC wins with an easier schedule, but I would guess we wouldn't have won as many conference games.

I meant rooting not routing
Swype is a neat app for android but sometimes word substitutions are odd

Yes. I love the convenience of Swype and appreciate the patience and understanding of the people who get the messed up auto corrected messages.

not sure if this was mentioned but...
Following the Florida trip. Should Siena beat Monmouth at home... Siena would have closed the season out 13-9 post Florida.

I know we had some close wins, but scary to think this team was close to 20 wins (yes close to only 10 wins too) but a few more breaks this team is some sort of post season play....

And with a win Sunday we are only one game off my preseason prediction of 12-8 in the MAAC.. more evidence that Marist on the road was not supposed to happen.

Monmouth and Marist PPC, bad stuff those 2. Barring an ugly upset Sunday the guys will beat my overall record prediction of 14-17. Nice work!

We lost the Monmouth game playing poorly... we gave the Marist game away with one bad inbounds. . Game was over

But for a few blips and brain cramps, yes they were. So I believe we should all be giving Kudos to Gorvy who had higher expectations that just about everybody.
