Are we really debating that a kid is a D1 player that just lost in the sectional semifinals of Class C? I haven't seen the kid play but if he is losing in the Class C sectionals then he's not a D1 player. Any D1 kid should be able to carry a Class C team through sectionals. stop

Maybe I am wrong and Class C is vastly improved from when I played.

We have players on our team that can’t make a foul shot. And some on here are questioning a player that is scoring 30 ppg. I don’t care what league he’s in. There are many great players from poor leagues. But it’s alright to select a player from NC that averaged 7 points last year and 12 points this year, what will he score in college? I know he plays in a tough league. If that’s the case, there must be a player on his team or in his league that we should be looking at. I’ve only watched both of these players on the internet, but there’s no question who I would take. 30 points beats 12 points in my book. The kid is a junior, his range is unbelievable, he sees the floor well, he handles the ball well and he passes well. Did I say he’s a junior? If the coach happens to select him, if he doesn’t cut it, he can sit with the kid from NC. But JP knows more than any of us and he hasn’t selected a bad recruit yet, so whomever he selects, I will assume is the right one, until proven otherwise He's recruiting 10 guys, does that mean he's "selected" all of them? I think he knows he needs to be actively involved with any local kid that has D-1 potential. Like I said in an earlier post, if we sign a combo guard, that we desperately need now, then Jimmy will quickly "un-select" him as a need for the program. The only need will be a legit center.

LOL, Spa Catholic played ZONE 95% of the game. He got pressured in the backcourt and then they'd run back into a 2-3. They wanted to make him work. Good idea for a kid that doesn't like giving up the ball. No more excuses for this kid though. He played poorly. Was the rim shaking when he went 1-5 on his FT's in the 4th quarter? Or on his two AIRBALLS from 3 in the 4th quarter? The last shot is excusable, the WIDE OPEN, FEET SET one with a little over a minute left, is not!

No he was tired from doing everything else the entire game. Hater He was also the only kid on lake George who was essentially doubled up top as shown in a number of pictures.

kid was flat out exhausted when this one was over. he drew defensive "attention" alright How do you think the kids from Guilderland and Columbia felt? Many of them played 52 minutes last night! Nails and Lott were DOUBLED anytime they made a move towards the basket, by kids that will play college basketball. Can we end thins thing already? Yes, he'll get a scholarship to a D-1 school, but I hope it's not us. We need better than him to play in the A-10. I hope he joins Cremo and Stire at UA. The AE is a good level for him.

I'm not convinced he is even good enough for UA-- he will have to improve- the excuses for him is laughable- kid had a horrible game and certainly didn't look like a D1 player- hopefully for him he is a good student and can play Ivy or PL-- he currently is not good enough for Siena-=-period end of story-

Damn, you've got a built in excuse for everything this kid comes up short on don't you!? LOVER!! Poor little Joel was tired so he missed 4 ft's in crunch time, and threw up two AIRBALLS from 3. C'mon dude, it's okay, to say "I may have been wrong." It won't hurt! lol

Agreed. He was not facing full court pressure from Louisville. the team they were playing was brutal. saying he was dead tired facing that little pressure is not a good sign. If im Wincowski I pick up the phone right now and call Patsos and verbal for that '15 ship. if im Patsos I change my phone number before he calls. Sorry, have to go with Tony and HJ on this one

quick question Saintsfan does JW's father have compromising pictures of you or your family?
C'mon cough it up.. you were wrong..kid needs some work-- it wont hurt to admit it-- repeat after me.. kid has another year to develop he currently is not good enough for Siena- maybe we can revisit next year if Siena has an available ride--
