OD was a soph, and very limited. GREAT rebounder, and a good kid. Not much else. I made my point about CJ. Very good when next to a great PG (Moore), below average when playing with a weak one (Hymes/Griffin).
You say it was a great job, I say it was a bad one. Only problem for you is the list of candidates that expressed interest in the job supports my claim.
And the other huge reason the job wasn't attractive is because the new guy knew he couldn't win like the fanbase had become accustomed to. We have the best, and worst, fanbase sometimes. When we're on top, it's the best. When we struggle, its "find a tree."

Clarence Jackson was third team all league 2009-10, no talent besides Rossiter? And without Moore how was he? CJ couldn't score off the bounce, and had a hard time creating his own shot. He was a real good catch-and-shoot kid, but those guys depend on their point guards getting those shots for them. Moore was exceptional at that, and probably made every kid on that team look better than they were. The REAL CJ was exposed when Frans boy was dishing the rock ps--CJ is EXACTLY what this current team needs. He'd be avg 18 points a game playing next to Wright.

CJ made two big 3's real late to save our bacon. I remember forecasting a long year with that terrible backcourt, and you agreeing! lol

I still think you're selling Clarence short. If you remember the "up" games we played (Kansas and Pitt come to mind) when the Big 3 were stopped & Clarence elevated to keep us close, part of his mojo was slashing to the hoop. While he (and we) certainly had a dramatic drop-off once Ronald left, I think Clarence's problems as a senior were his injuries and the stagnant offense presided over by the new coach. Anyway, let's get back to talking about 2015 recruits instead of the bad old days...

Scaring most away from applying. Which negates your "unattractive" position. Expectations are just as high now as they were then. People lined up for the job this time... because there was zero chance for a nepotism hire.

and siena hired a dude from their own conference..... not exactly a home run. oh i agree. I was very disappointed in this hire but not because i dont think Patsos cant compete in the maac. I think he can have Siena back competing for maac championships. Im just not sure where his ceiling is. I will support patsos and the rebuild job despite him not being the guy i wanted. Mitch on the other hand i was so 100% confident that it would go down as the worst hire ever at Siena that i couldnt support that for one single day

agree.... mitch's hire fit the siena mold. Hire the guy down the hallway... Patsos hire was slightly more inspired.

I'll report it, because SaintsFan won't. Wincowski had 24 points in a big win over Bolton last night, 64-16. Michael Bolton could have scored 17 last night Now that we took Gottfried I think you can stick a fork in Wincowski.
