Really, you think he will be here? According to many here, he, Evan, Rich are all easily replaceable. With what? Role playef FRESHMAN RECRUITS that will be young, not ready for D1, not ready to live away from home and manage their time? We are recruiting over players that you feel are just coming into their own, offering schollies that can be open only if they 'choose to persue other opportunities'...... Don't know if he'll be here or not. I would hope he is. Just saying that with all the experience the Frosh are getting (i.e., more than the Frosh got last year) that with the returning upperclassman, the Soph yr jump, the addition to Cole (not saying he's a savior - just saying we could use someone with his talents even if we have to get the potential baggage that comes with him) and add whatever little bit the incoming players can give - I expect that we'll be much better than this year. With all the crap that's going on (this season) I still see progress over last 3 years - that's all I'm really trying to say. There's going to be bumps in the road and we might actually regress a little, but I still believe we'll be good. Of course what do I know I said similar things the past 3 Years.

St Peters facility..My first time..and last time! The place is nothing more than a glorified high school gym. Siena really needs to get to the A10!The gameFouls ..Siena has been dealing with them all year..Why? 1. Youth and inexperience 2. Aggressive defense 3. An inconsistent foul rule! When you look at the officiating in this game- it was a joke! A number of people, including the Catholic University head coach said he was appalled about how officials were calling in the game. And also said this has been a problem all year across the NCAA! Jimmy: I not going after someone who stands up for his players. Especially when the officiating was again ..a joke! As for his yelling…what head coach doesn’t yell ? Saint Fran ? Patino ? Coach K ? THEY ALL YELL! White: He is has to stop with the dumb shots- enough with three pointers! He made 1 all year! Give me a break! Great game by Oliver! The Siena fans: In general …they were GREAT! However, there was one old fat Siena fan – who crossed the line with crap he was saying- both with officials and opposing players! That guy has to SHUT UP! He was pissing everyone off..including some the Siena bench!

Siena really needs to get to the A10! If we keep playing like this I think the A10 would be foolish to let us in.

I don't buy that St. Peter's has greater talent than we do. I can accept road losses to the "big 4", but not St. Pete's (or Monmouth). It shouldn't be happening this late in the season.

Most teams and coaches have adjusted – Siena has not, it’s not a point of emphasis, it’s a rule change—you bump a guy going down court—automatic foul, you put two hands on a guy hand checking him it’s an automatic foul. Long and Hymes are both getting 1 or 2 dumb fouls a game on those calls.Between those dumb fouls and the 1 or two illegal screens that Imoh or Brett get a game and a big reason why Siena fouls so much- get rid of the half a dozen to 10 stupid fouls a game and numbers would look much better for Siena

I think it comes down to what IndianSaint has been saying today. A year from now, this team won't be losing that game like last night. All our talent will be back, a year older, bigger, stronger, a lot more experienced having playing this entire season together. We will have more firepower, complimentary pieces and hopefully a back-up PG. Believe me, I was sick all day today over last night's game but I'm back and ready to keep thinking good thoughts about these young men and our full compliment of talent returning next year. Go Saints!

White played 7 minutes and shot 1-2, and yes his one miss from 3point land was the difference in the game. What about the leading scorer taking 2 shots. What about the SF you are in love with only scoring 2 pts and 1 reb the last 35 minutes of the game. by the way White in 18 less minutes had 2 rebs, one more than your starting SF. But White's one 3pt shot is what you got out of last nights terrible performance. Unbelievable

Unbelievable Let me make this very clear- White is very gifted, athletic, quick, great on D, and drives the basket VERY well. However, the kid should not jacking up 3's this year. Maybe in time he will have that ability - but not right now!

And my point is to single him out in your original post with everything that went wrong last night was total BS. Just my opinion.

@ th24- While I agree that certain fans are over the line with comments and calling out/further pissing off refs by name will only further deteriorate the foul situation, I addressed it with him/them a few times last night and at other away games this season. I do know the kids on the bench are bothered by it. You should speak to him directly.

Siena is not the only team....from attached videos it's obvious that coaches are struggling with the new new rules, ie. Kansas coach. one comment is interesting: the new rules will see who can play defense...you have to move your feet...help defense, boxing out are so important. In the last stages of the Quinny game we didn't do any of that...we lost!!!

I know we have the talent issues that Tony and others have pointed out but I had hoped, no, expected, that we would progress throughout the season due to our being young. Maybe it is the recruits hitting the "freshman wall" you hear about but if it is a hangover from the devastating Quinny loss, that is the kind of thing I would not have expected from a Patsos coached team that seemed to have bought in beforehand. Early season success made me expect to win games against the likes of SPH at this point in the season.

Not too many worse than Siena who as a team fouls the 7th most in Div 1..individually Lavon Long is tied for 1st ( most fouls per game) with an avg of 4.04 Brett Bisping is 29th nationally at 3.88 fouls a game --interestingly enough Siena is only 3rd worse in MAAC both Manhattan ( who fouls more than anyone in D1) and Niagara foul more
