Lol. Just good to go in eyes open. Young team...a bit shorthanded in depth and experience.

Brace yourselves for a tough month. (Quinnipiac) @ st peters Fairfield @marist Canisius Manhattan @rider @quinnipiac Four of the next seven on the road which are never easy and the return canisius and Manhattan games will obviously be tough. So far 1-3 in February. Now for the hard games We just don't know how to win these tight games. Part of it will come with experience and adding more talent will help. But at some point we have to get over the hump. We've played well enough to be 13-13 and 9-6 in the MAAC.. but we gave the Quinnipiac game away and out right choked this game away.

It's beginning to look like a real possibility for a 20 loss season. I know many of you are eternal optimists and look at Siena basketball with rose colored glasses, but basck to back 20 loss seasons is a hallmark of a bad program.
I am starting to lose fairth that the ADM will blow our chance at an A-10 invite.
I hate to be the messenger, but we stink.

They are just a little bit shy on talent.... Very little OK Saintsfan... you don't have to keep bumping up this thread Seriously though I agree we need another piece or two and the frosh to grow up. You throw in a Pat Cole and a back-up PG, even with all the frosh, we might be at 16-11 as opposed to 11-16.

They are just a little bit shy on talent.... Very little wE NEed two Lavon Longs so that when one fouls out there is another one coming in to keep the offense running.

People like Siena70 don't deal in reality. They expect Jimmy to click his heels (TM Saintsfan) and win 20 games. Next year the pressure will be on Jimmy to deliver. This year he had to get the program going again. He's done that...and more. I don't care who was coaching this team to have 11 wins and be in position for another 2-3 with just a little more talent/experience is just about all you could expect. Friday night was a blown game...today was a game where we battled and just lost to a team with more talent and a great player, a senior and borderline NBA player.

Who is he going to put in to finish? Kids who can pay D but no O? Kids who play O but no D? Freshman? He really was left behind the eight ball on this. Need depth. Need talent. The stench of years prior still lingers.

Good post and in fact siena has been in position to win 4 or 5 more The 4-5 we didn't win bother me. They bother me too. They should bother everyone. But I'm not going to pin them on the head coach. Next year is different though. He will have had an entire offseason to improve the team as he sees fit and his big freshman class will have a full season under their belts. Plus the schedule will be much more manageable especially early on.

Jimmy's winning percentage at Siena is now LESS than the PW! Have no fear Cam is near.
