This one stung. But got to give Poole credit. He really mans up here and takes the loss for his foul at the end. Certainly not all on him, but he takes it on and acts like a leader here.

Three bonehead plays equals one loss:
1. Dropped coverage inbound pass w ,8 seconds left in first half - 3 PTs
End of regulation:
2. Desperation 3 pt shot to prevent 30 sec violation by Quinny - Siena foul 2 PTs at foul line
3. Missed Quinny layup - put back between 2 Siena players - foul - 3 PTs tie game overtime
End of story

Hopefully this is the only year that patsos says "they are a better team than us" both before and after a maac game.

Hopefully this is the only year that patsos says "they are a better team than us" both before and after a maac game. Even with all the fouls being called, the team hung in there and showed that they are improving... Very good sign of things to come.

About the only thing Mitch and Patsos have in common The difference is Jimmy says it as motivation not being a defeatist. People are looking too much into his comments but that's not uncommon when you lost a game like we did.

and its true--- as much as some of you on this board dont want to admit it--Quinny is better than us-- as is Iona Manhattan and Canisius --next year different story, Jimmy did a good job keeping us in game with more talented team

I don't care to get into a debate, but Quinny didn't look like they were that much better than us last night. Granted, the home court helps, but we stayed with them blow by blow and the diff was that we didn't have the guys on the floor toward the end that we needed.

If you can rebound you can play with Quinnipiac. Athleticism/speed in the front court was the difference

The major problem with the game were the refs ... The calls were bad on both sides. Fouls, traveling these idiiots were whistle happy, far too many calls. Refs should never be the focus of the game, the players should decide the outcome not the stripes. Just an awful job!
We were every bit QU equal last night if not better!

We stayed with the 2nd leading team with regard to rebounds for a good portion of the game. I know what the final stats were but I would be interested to see what the numbers were as we lost almost our entire front court. I really think the difference was playing down 5 players in regulation. We were there up to that point - that was when the tide shifted.

When our players started to foul out the fat lady was singing!
