Re-establishing a positive relationship with Jimmy Hart and his City Rocks program might be the most important thing JP can do this summer.

I agree.. Siena loses way too many players from the City Rocks to the NBA. Should be Jimmey's top priority.

I would love to see them stay local and grab Jamil Hood. But there's no scholly for him here unless he preps a year.

Things have a way of "opening up" over the course of a head coach's first season. No reason Hood shouldn't be one of our priority recruits this winter. Getting re-aligned with one of the countrys top AAU programs, thats IN your city, is vital for the rebuilding of the program. Doesn't hurt attendance either

HJ is right about things having a way of opening up. There is interest in 6'7 PF Kevin Degnan of Pearl River (Rockland County) as well as Hood and other locals Greg Stire of CBA and Elijah Burns of LaSalle, although the word is that he is reclassifying to 2015 and heading to prep school. Not surprisingly, there is interest in kids from the Baltimore-Washington area.

Looks like the 4 strongest with Degnen right now are Siena, Fordham, Fairfiled, and Duquense

We have NO shot at LArrier, he is now ranked 34th in the country and can just about name his school. We had him on campus last year, but he blew up.

Jamil Hood just attended a camp at Penn State. Article says offers from Seton Hall, Albany and Siena.
Penn State offered him for 2015, want him to do a prep school year.
