MTS..get it started with analysis. Let's all try to stay on topic discussing our team and give Tony a little policing break today. I may head to hoopjunkies place from the airport on my way to the game for my pregame warm up.

St. Peter's have won 3 of their last 4, the most recent game being an away loss to Marist. Before that they reeled off wins against Rider, Quinnipiac, and Fairfield.
Marvin Dominique does the majority of damage for St. Peter's, very active around the basket rebounding & scoring, but also a capable outside shooter. Desi Washington is a scorer/volume shooter but offers little else IMO. What I'm most interested in is the Trevis Wyche vs. Marquis Wright Freshman PG showdown. Wyche boasts close to a 2/1 ast/TO ratio and averages about 8.5 ppg, it should be a good battle between the two up & comers.
After those three it's score/rebound/defend by committee. They shoot FTs very well, so it would be a good time for Siena to reverse its fouling tendencies.

Yes they have Jemel Fields too, the only MAAC-to-MAAC school transfer player I can recall and a guy with local ties. He's giving Dunne some minutes (averaging 17 mpg) but nothing that jumps off the page. 1-1 ast/TO ratio, hitting 30% of threes. However, in one of the few games I watched St. Peter's play this year, he was out with an injury I believe and didn't play.

Going to have to play well to win this game. I would assume Patsos stays with small lineup tonight as St. Peters is not really big. I think Washington is the X-factor tonight. He has had big games in their 3 best wins. Seton Hall-34pts and 7 3ptfgs. At Rider-21pts and 4 3ptfgs. Quinnipiac- 16pts. only 1-6 on 3ptfgs. All of those games above his 13pt/g avr. Something to watch at start of game to see if this his one of his "on" games

I watched that Seton Hall game, he was the de-facto PG because I believe both Wyche and Fields were out with injuries/foul outs and he was playing total hero ball (effectively).

I'm going back a bit, but PG John McDonald transferred from Loyola to Iona and helped the Gaels be successful in the late 1990's.

I figured there must be an instance of it occurring before, thanks for the tip! That predates my MAAC fandom by a few years, I was a millenial Siena student.

Working 9-9...just checking the scores but hows it going there? Saints look like a better team overall? Just too big inside? Anyone?

Wright had a game. 13 pts and 9 rebounds. He led our team in rebounds! And while Hymes had 7 assists I though he played bad and I thought he should not have played as much as he did. But great games by Wright and Bisping. And a good game by Long.

I was following the game via espn game cast. It looked like JO played early and then was taken out not to return. Did he do something wrong? Solid win!
