Doug Sherman reported that Poole has a bruised hip (practice yesterday) and is "questionable" for the St. Peter's game! If he is unable to play I hope Michael Wolfe gets a bunch of the available minutes as Jimmy moves the pieces into different positions. Hope it's just a tweak and not a longer term setback - we need him healthy and clicking on all "3" cylinders.

Good to hear that Poole is ready to go. St. Peter's is a solid team this won't be an easy game. SPU has won at Seton Hall and Rider this year. They are coming off a 70-63 loss at Marist on Monday.
Top two players to watch - Marvin Dominique 6'7 Jr. (transfer from Fordham) averaging 18 and 9 - shooting 48% and Desi Washington 13.4 PPG - shooting .344 from three.
SPU is shooting 74% from the foul line as a team so we can't put them on the line a lot or we're in trouble.
Protect the home court...let's start another home court winning streak. Go Saints!

John Dunne is some kind of a coach! Amazing that he gets kids to go to SPC in the first place, but then he coaches the hell out of his teams.

Doesn't get a lot of attention because his career record isn't pretty but considering what he has to work with it's really isn't that bad. Jimmy had a tough sell at Loyola but Dunne is in a tougher position at St. Peter's. They play very tough defense hopefully we don't get frustrated and can score enough to win.

I like our chances in a defensive battle rather than an offensive powerhouse...we just have to take care of the ball and play together
