Tough break for JO.. he has had to endure an awful lot so early in his young career. Glad he is making the trip at least. His teammates need to play extra hard to make up for his absence. We can't go big but everyone needs to play big

Sounds like Patsos is suggesting that even when JO does return, he has lost his starting job. Man, that's tough. Get hurt, get sent to the bench. I know Silas had that one dominant game, but I'm not sure that it was a sustainable performance. I still think JO is the team's best big man.

Silas is a slow starter. He has a 60% career FG%, is our best rebounder, and he blocks over a shot a game despite only playing less than half of one on average. JO isn't tough enough yet on the boards. Silas and Bisping are both better rebounders. We need JO though the way we foul. Honestly, the way it's looking... our dynamic frontcourt 4some could end up being one of the better MAAC frontcourts.

Something to that KK hung tough with Purdue down there with Poole getting 11 as well..and all that without JO... rebound by committee

It doesn't matter whether JO starts or not. He, like the other five that may not start in a particular game will still be getting their minutes. The player that plays well will be getting plenty of time on the floor. And of course with these new rules, most teams are going to have to go with a rotation of 9 or 10 whether they like it or not.

We def have benefited from the bodies with all the fouls we get...Lavon has 25 in 6 games..so having Bisping there to end that Purdue game playing without JO and Lavon and Silas fouling out made a big difference especially with how well he played...that is a plus

They really need to start giving Wolfe some run...they need the minutes inside. If given some time to get into the flow of the game, I think Wolfe would surprise. If Patsos is just going to play him 1 or 2 minutes a game, he should have red-shirted him because it's a waste of a year of eligibility.

Wolfe almost always gets pulled within a min or two on the floor, he misses assignments or is pushed out of the way underneath. Wolfe will get more time when he 'earns" it. As for JO starting or not-- doesn't much matter- we need all our big men, JO has by far the biggest "upside" ( of Silas Bisping and JO) but like many freshmen big men- he struggles to stay on floor because of fouls. In the MAAC we seldom get player 6'8" or over that are ready to play. Those players usually have huge jumps their sophomore years. But even this year having all 3 of them makes Siena a much more dangerous team

Patsos' Loyola teams have always valued their front court more than most MAAC programs. In rebuilding the Siena roster, I think he's had to focus on the back court to begin with. I wouldn't be surprised if that focus moves next season.
