Oh. If they are leaving tomorrow, good luck with that. Weather wise, they will be lucky to get to Orlando sometime on Thursday. I sure wouldn't want to be flying the East Coast tomorrow even on a clear Thanksgiving Tuesday.

Flights are not delayed for the most part @ ALB International this morning. There are several more people going than this poll suggests; they just don't participate in board fodder.

I'd rank as such:
Oklahoma St (they just recently obliterated Memphis, the 2nd best team here) Memphis (lost their last 13 games in a row against ranked teams. Might miss Conference USA this year, but still have a ton of talent & senior contributors) LSU (Way better than people expect) Butler (down, but not out. Will miss Roosevelt Jones) Purdue (Won't threaten in the B10 but have size. Most here familiar with them from this past weekend's game.) St. Joes (Candidly don't know much about St. Joe's this year) Washington St (Down year) Siena (The Fightin' Patsos will go down swinging!)

I think we can play with Butler, Purdue, St. Joes and Washington St. We had to shoot horrible and Purdue had to shoot well and get homer calls to beat us. In a neutral rematch ...who knows?

Siena will most likely play St. Joe's after Memphis. But that's not a given. They are pretty good so far and could very well take out LSU. SJU only lost by 4 against nationally ranked Creighton, won at Vermont by 10 and crushed Marist by 20 (not that that's saying much). They start a bruising inside combo of 6'8 forwards Ronald Roberts, Jr. and Halil Kanacevic, who weigh in at 230 and 250 respectively. Guard Langston Calloway is their star averaging nearly 19 ppg., while Roberts averages nearly 17. Siena will have their hands full with that combo. As a team, the Hawks are averaging 78 ppg and shooting 43% from 3. If they get hot from outside, they will light Siena up. They crushed Vermont and Marist on the boards - they outrebounded Marist by an astounding 21 rebounds. If JO is back by then, Patsos may have to go with a big lineup much of the game if they play St. Joe's.
Butler is 4-0, but hasn't played anyone of note except Vandy, who they beat by 8 in OT. They beat Lamar by 31, Ball state by 1 and Princeton by 3. Their two best players are forward Khyle Marshall and guard Kellen Dunham, both averaging just under 16 ppg. Butler isn't a particularly big team and wouldn't overpower Siena inside.
I'd say Siena's best shot for a win in this tourney would be against Washington State, St. Joe's or Butler if they were to have an opportunity to play them. All these teams have in common that they have to consistent scorers. Siena needs to start shooting better on a consistent basis (including free throws), and they need to start showing up in the second half to have a chance against any of the teams in this field. One thing Siena has shown pretty consistently is the ability to hang with anyone when it comes to rebounding, so I don't think they'll be beaten soundly by anyone on the boards. Either way after this rough OOC schedule, Siena will be well-prepared for what's looking like a weak MAAC.

We arrived around 10:45am. Flight delayed 35-40 mins for de-iceing. Tom H & his family on flight along with a few other Siena fans.
Today high was in low 80s, with tornado watch for parts west & north of Orlando. Still beats the snow this morning & a high of only 34 in Albany.
