Well the staff seems to be after the right type of players now they have to sign them. One step at a time.

Yes he tweeted that we offered him Gotha. I wonder why Verbal Commits hasn't picked up on that yet. He's built a nice list of offers already. Seems like we're kinda late to the party.

We are really looking to fill the spots that Poole and Hymes leave open. If we can get impact players in those spots that would help us. A 2g is a high priority no doubt.

Do we have any reason to believe the staff is even looking at Cain? Alex Kline @therecruitscoop · Dec 14 Iona offered 2015 St. Benedict’s (NJ) wing Eli Cain, who is being carted by Pitt, Providence, Cincinnati, Siena & others, as well. hopefully there is still mutual interest

Better keep offering others..... You know, just in case.

I hear he is most suited for MAAC level and would be real good at that level

Doug Overton's (LaSalle-1st round pick) son is a 6'4" 210 off guard leaving Wake Forest in the middle of his sophomore year. Wants to get closer to home (Philly) he says. Dads familiar with Siena and the TUC (Knick when he played). Might be worth a peek. Verbal Commits just tweeted Miles Overton is going to Drexel.

Siena had no scholarship to offer. That is the problem with using all 13 and not keeping one in the pocket.
If successful, the mid-year transfer is the best bargain outside of the fifth the transfer, when the transferee gets one year of basketball for one year of scholar ship the case of Overton, Drexel gets 2.67 years of basketball for 3.5 years of scholarship. That is better than getting three years for four or two years for three.

Some may ask, well since Cole and Wolfe left, why can't we use their scholarships? Those are dead to anyone looking to transfer in, and are so to basically discourage "running off" kids at the break. I'm not sure whether someone that is already enrolled in the school, and on the team (Gottfried/Merrill), could get the half scholarship though!? Can't see how that would compromises the rule.

Wrong Evan, but we all look alike. That one (Evan Phoenix, not Fisher) is going to central Connecticut state
