"But the North Country’s connection to the all-state team goes right to ultimate level of achievement with Lake George’s superlative 6’2” sophomore point guard Joel Wincowski who is being touted as the next Jimmer Fredette of the Capital Region after averaging 27.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.1 steals and 3.9 assists." Link to storyI've watched him play several times, nice player (no not Jimmer) but by 2015 I would hope we're recruiting higher level players.....we need to recruit on an A10 level. I don't think this kid is there, again nice player but not what we should be targeting! I haven't seen him play but I will say that I recall some saying the same about Fredette

Nothing against him, I just think we need to start attracting a higher caliber player.

I think Jimmy is taking a gamble because if the kid is the real deal, Jimmy said coming in that he wanted to focus on keeping local talent that was worthy of playing at Siena or higher right here playing at Siena. I think these other early offers forced his hand a bit so that the kid and his pops saw that Siena was in from the beginning. If he is the real deal would love to see the kid in a Siena uniform. Wright would be a senior pg when he got here and that he could learn from in becoming the next multi year PG for Siena when he is a Sophomore.

Any 2015 prospect, Wright would be a Junior when they get here. This is the '13-'14 school year. '14-'15, Wright will be soph, '15-'16 makes him a Junior. And you didn't name who you were discussing anyways.

Probably Wincowski, since Jimmy has stated we need to find more scorers.

I would take Johnny Joseph in a heart beat. If we get Taplin it may effect who will want to come the next year although a shooter is always welcome
