What big guys do we like KS? I have only seen us mentioned with Holt and Sam Miller and Millet is a little dated Not sure. I think Holt is in the mix but my sense right now is that a PG is the top priority, probably followed by best available.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us take 3 kids (PG, BIG, Best), in anticipation of at least one unhappy player moving on in April. Gonna be hard to keep everyone happy with P/T.

The post that I deleted was inaccurate. I had forgotten that Holt is a 2014 grad who is going to prep school for a year, as opposed to a projected 2015 grad who is transferring to a prep school and possibly reclassifying.
By the way, in addition to Siena, Holt apparently has been offered by Towson, Drexel, Vermont, Robert Morris, Quinnipiac, Buffalo and Fairfield.

Coaches are falling in love with this 2015 skilled big man Evan Fisher touch.baltimoresun.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-76180094/By John Stoller, The Baltimore Sun Updated June 5, 2013 After a solid sophomore campaign for McDonogh’s varsity boys basketball team, Evan Fisher has moved on to a new challenge this spring: playing up a level for Nike Baltimore Elite’s 17-and-under AAU team. Fisher, a sophomore starter for the Eagles, is faring well so far for NBE. “It’s great. The atmosphere is unbelievable,” Fisher said after a recent Nike Baltimore Elite practice at Baltimore City Community College. “I’m playing up with the 17-year-olds, and it really shows you what you got to do to get to the next level as a player.” A 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward, Fisher has claimed a rotation role for Nike Elite. While there are inevitable growing pains for someone a year younger than most of his opponents, Fisher has had his fair share of positive moments. He averaged 4.8 points and 6.2 rebounds for NBE during Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League session in Minneapolis last month. Colleges have started to notice Fisher’s potential. He already holds offers from UMBC and George Mason, and expects more to roll in. Princeton, Maryland, Boston College and Georgetown have all contacted him as well. Fisher, who said he has no timetable when it comes to recruiting, has “no real dream college.” He’s looking for a place “where I could find myself happy for four years and get a degree.” Fisher hopes to continue to grow into his size 16 feet, but no matter if he stays at 6-8 or shoots up another few inches, he has a good idea of where he will play at the next level. “I want to be a 4, and [be] as versatile as I can,” said Fisher, who hopes to continue developing his inside-out game. “The most effective players are the most versatile.” John Stoller is a Gilman senior interning in The Sun's sports department.

cityofbasketballlove.com/2014/04/team-final-scrimmages-recruiting-notebook/Evan Fisher (2015/McDonogh/Baltimore Elite) Big guys who can shoot are a wanted commodity at every level. As a 6-foot-8 forward with good mobility and a solid touch, Fisher is more than aware. “I grew up being the biggest on the court, so I was a post player but now I want to be a stretch-four, almost a three,” he said. “I think the best players on the next level are the most versatile, so I’m just trying to be as versatile as possible.” He’s not afraid to bang in the post but definitely likes to float out to the perimeter, where he knocked down a few 3-pointers as well as the occasional mid-range shot; his strong play also helped Baltimore Elite to the Spring Jam championship last weekend in Manheim. Currently, Fisher has offers from Delaware, Saint Joseph’s, UMBC and Towson, with interest from Maryland, Virginia and Georgetown. Though he doesn’t have any leaders at this point, he certainly was high on the Hawks, who made it to the NCAA Tournament this past season for the first time since 2008. “They got in touch last fall, [assistant coach] Dave Duda came over and he’s been in touch with me, came to a few games,” Fisher said. “I went on a visit. I’m really excited about it, I really like it.” He plans on making his decision in August or September.

Jordan Roland committed to GW today What determines when a kid Siena's going after or has interest in hits the Verbal Commits site or other recruiting sites? Jordan Roland wasn't on Verbal Commits along with others that people post that Siena has interest in or has "offered".

Verbal commits is generally the best I have seen as keeping lists up to date. They seem to grab a lot of information from twitter and off other sites. Often right after a kid tweets intetest it shows up there. Many other sites show schools with a kid once mentioned and never take any schools off the list. It's never totally accurate
