This is exactly why it's so hard to believe the hype of upstate NY players. The bias is just at ridiculous levels.

He does not have great hands. He's long and more athletic than his opponents. He anticipates well. He's the best shooter I've seen since Jimmer Fredette, which is saying a lot. I've watched Jimmer since he was young( he's good friends with my nephew, the Fredette's live across the street from my sister and Brother in law.) Wincowski will end up taller and longer than Jimmer and be more of a 2 guard probably. We'll have to see. Shooting 36% from three and barely 70% from the line against meh competition is a lot like, well, almost every guard recruit in the country. I know Jimmer too. My 3rd cousin twice removed had a friend whose sister was his maid's yoga instructor. And this is why you can't be taken seriously. I actually wonder if you've ever watched a game.

I once watched someone watching a game on tv once. Does that count? Anyway, this is a recruiting thread. We shouldn't be posting this here.

We shouldn't talk about a recruit on a recruiting thread? Well, you shouldn't. You admitted you've never seen him and want to go watch videos.

Better than his older brother, but I don't really think he is an 'up' recruit for us. Have you ever seen him play? He can handle and pass, already a better shooter than anyone at Siena, and has 2 years of high school left. Are you a Siena fan?? I saw this kid through last season and at the sectionals and while he is a decent shooter, I would hardly say that he is better at handle, pass and shooting than ANYONE Siena has currently. Is he actually going to play in Lake George again or possibly transfer to a more competitive private situation?? The small school line up isn't going to develop him much, IMHO.

[quote author="@magic" blogginonbabcock.com/2013/04/01/sophomore-guard-joel-wincowski-visits-bu/[/quote] He looks like a solid shooter and is really young so I'm interested in watching him develop. He handle doesn't seem as tight as you suggest though. I'd worry about him being able to get clean looks against better, bigger teams. He has the tools and size but looks like he needs to tighten the handle and get stronger/quicker.

Since you quoted me, why not READ what I wrote. I did not say he is "better at handle, pass and shooting than ANYONE Siena has currently". I don't care if you don't like my opinion, but if you're going to lie about my quotes, don't include them in your own post so it's obvious you are lying.

I've never used that word to describe basketball, sorry. As far as getting clean looks, find video of the 33 he dropped on Pine Plains, with the 6'8" and 6'9" Lydon brothers and the 6'4" point guard Cooper. For the State Championship. As a Sophomore.

I like to CAPITALIZE random words in THE middle of sentences. It makes me HAPPY inside.
