Hey Folks,
We all get pretty goofy on here, but in the end its only a game, one we all love. Please remember what happended 12 years ago and all those who lost their lives and all of those who pitched in and gave so much to help many others.

Amen. Hard to believe it's been 12 years. And the tower(s) rise again!

I doubt that any of us need to be reminded, but it's good to have it out there for us to see and to reflect on, even if only for a moment. In situations like that, we are ALL on the same side. We often think of athletes as heroes, and in some sense that's fine, but there were a lot of true heroes that day, and many acts of heroism that none of us will ever know about.

Not the least among those heroes was NYFD Chaplain, Father Mychal Judge, who died administering "Last Rites" in the wreckage of the towers and who was "Assistant to the President" at Siena in the early 1980's.

Unbelievable. I never heard that Jimmy was supposed to be on one of those planes. I remember that day vividly - doesn't feel like it's been 12 years. Pearl Harbor was my grandparents generation, JFK's assassination my parents and 9/11 my brother and myself's generation. I pray we never see anything like that every again! God Bless the heros - both human and canine!!

I will never for get the mood of the campus after getting the news. The professors &students were in a panic, classes were canceled . And a couple days after there was a candle light vigil... with God bless America and prayers being said!

I was in high school and it was a shock on 9/11.
Today, I teach and I told my students about 9/11 today (they were toddlers when it happened).
They got an idea of how my father felt (he had an office there) and lost his friends in the tower that day.
Be sure to keep the message going for future generations, folks.

I was flying that day and it messed me up for awhile. My plane went south to Philly about 30 minutes ahead of those that went straight down the river. It was a long drive home especially with a pregnant wife at home. However, it real hit me when I got to the Albany airport to fet my car and was greated by guardsmen with machine guns.

I was living on the 5th floor of Plassmann hall that year. I didn't have an early class that day and was still asleep when my roommate came running back in from his 8 am class and woke me up to the news.
