If this is a kid Siena might have seious interest in, Siena may have a hidden advantage. The Ukranian/American community is very vibrant in Watervliet and Cohoes. When Joey Juneau came to RPI 30 years ago, he was an awesome hockey player but not very proficient in english. He stayed with a French/Canadian-American family in Cohoes when he first came to the area, and it gave hime a home base to help get him established. Subsequently, he got his degree in Aeronautical Engineering in THREE YEARS (okay, they guy is incredibly smart), then went on to have a nice career in the NHL (okay, he was also a very talented hockey player). Not saying his host family made that happen, but they gave a young (he was 17) kid a home a base. I know JP met a couple people in Philly this summer who have major ties to Siena and the Ukranian/American community in the area. Maybe that works to Siena's advantage.
