Love the low expectations....I believe these guys will prove the doubters wrong...we have 3 players at the 2 without Buie or Cole and Bisping can play the 4 and 5 from what I have seen...his shooting will open things up..Lavon and JO have College ready bodies with the frame to add more muscle and body fat to loose....Wolfe will continue to add weight and can get minutes along the way I like to play with numbers Siena was 8-24 last year ...Oakland Mills only won 8 games the year before Lavon transfered in his senior year....OM won 24 games before their only lost i. the regional final....the expectations were very low when Lavon came in.....OM had a 25-30 pt scorer on that 8 win team....so it was said that Lavon will come in and average 30 because no one can stop him in the weak league they are in but OM will lose because the same players were there minus the leading scorer.....they did not know the type of player Lavon is.....instead of jacking up shots and playing selfish Lavon played the game the right way like he always does ....he lead the team in every category and the wins kept coming he averaged 15pts per game with 3 asst and that led to balanced scoring and it prevented teams from locking in on him because he always found the open man...as a result those same players from the year before got better...3 averaged 8 pts and one average 10 with 8 boards....OM won the christmas tournament and in the final Lavon won MVP and he only scored 7 pts...the only game he did not have double figures...they put a box and 1 on him and he filled the stat sheet with asst, Blocks, rebounds and steals close to double figures in several of the 5 categories .....so although I dont expect Lavon to dominate like he did in HS right away....he and the other freshman will do better than most Believe they will be this team will play D and play together....I expect balanced scoring and fun to watch.. Amen. I think too many people are putting stock in what this Siena team has been...and failing to see what it's going to be with all the changes since last season. A better coach, a better system, and better players = a better season to come. I'll be shocked if we don't see at least an 8 win improvement over last season even with a tougher schedule. I think people are underselling how terrible a coach Mitch was. That change alone is going to make all the difference. There is no way this team finishes bottom 3 in the MAAC. I predict a top half finish. And in year 2 of the Patsos era, this team is ready to challenge for a title.

And in year 2 of the Patsos era, this team is ready to challenge for a title. while bodies at the two (SG) are fine, they arent good enough currently to be the impact at that position that will be needed to contend for the title and begin to play the stronger opponents we all want to see. Yes the SGs on the team are adequate to get to around .500 and be an annoyance in conference. Siena will need to mask the weakness at the two if they are to contend. But make no mistake... many teams will attempt to exploit that weakness. White, Cole, Buie or any combination would go a LONG way to turning that deficiency into a strength.

Cole or Buie, sure, but I don't see any particular reason to think that White would make a bigger impact than any combination of Audu, Oliver, or one of PGs slotting over. I'm higher on Poole at the 2 than you guys are. Our problem, then, is depth at the position (especially if Poole is needed to back up the 3).
