Not sure if this has already been posted, but it appears that there will be a special article on Jimmy in this Sunday's TU print edition.

The ad in the on-line edition of the TU seems to indicate it will only be in the hard-copy Sunday edition. If someone could post it here the out-of-towners would appreciate it!

Typically the Sunday exclusives do get posted online on Monday.

this must be that article that got PULLED weeks ago, I mentioned this back then................not sure why it was pulled or by who, but there was some behind the scene issues that did not want it public.............although, without knowing the exact content of the original, this version could have been altered............does anyone have any inside info on this? ??

There's no grassy knoll conspiracy the TU had other stories that were being published. One being on Courtney Erickson. I look forward to reading it. Jimmy is a great quote and has already promoted the program more than anyone I can remember despite only being on the job for what 90 days?

by the way, the article is named .............Can this man save the Saints? ? Actual article is entitled "Jimmy Patsos Rises to "Next Thing" and is on the first page of the paper. The link (on the on-line sports page) just leads to a note saying you have to buy the hard copy now - the story will go on-line later in the week! Nice article aimed more at him than the team and highlights his interest in history and the fact that a bartending job helped develop his communication skills. His latest haunt is "Maestro's". Interesting man and I'm confident we will see improvement immediately when the season starts.

I think Saratoga is the perfect fit for Jimmy and his personality. City full of culture/history.
Seems like a new trend for Siena coaches- live around the Saratoga area. Our last coach was at Ballston Lake. Didn't Fran live nearby Siena?

That was what we waited four weeks for? I was expecting something a little more comprehensive.

implying Patsos is some sort of savior post Mitch may be believable to some but honestly... Mitch was 100% the worst hire in program history and thus anything after it is going to be a calming breeze of relief.
I would love to see an article that delves into how costly a mistep that last hire was and then the speculation etc as to how long before it is but a distant memory. I wouldnt even mind if they just used it as but one example of how treacherous the coaching carousel is at this level and the impact a bad/good hire can have
Patsos is a competent coach who is in the driver seat to create his own legacy here. There have been plenty of good coaches who have surpassed anything Patsos has done to date so history for Siena + Patsos has yet to write itself. Lets remain grounded in reality while being optimistic that the dismal clouds of despair of the past three seasons fade as if carried out to sea by the jet stream.
