The coaching staff really wants him, but the "booster club" really doesn't. It'll be interesting to see who wins Jimmys first in-house battle.

I would bet on Patsos over the "booster club", unless by the "booster club" you mean the school's board of Directors, who have sway over Father Kevin and D'Argenio. If by booster club you mean this board it is no contest.

I thought "booster club" referred to the people who donated (Saints Alive big doners). I doubt Siena cares about what bloggers say.

I dont know the kid at all nor the specifics of his history... but I will say if Patsos takes on the challenge he believes he can win. I will trust his judgement here. Patsos has been batting 1000 since we met him.

The possible rewards outweigh the risk. A top 100 recruit out of high school and a local coming back and playing and should he succeed with Ogunyemi... will pave the way for many more local kids to realize they can succeed here at Siena. He becomes arguably the most talented player on the roster immediately and one of the top players in the conference.
get it done.

And for the booster’s keep contributing if you want. But you should not have any say on a coach’s player selection. Because you donate money doesn’t mean you know more than the coach……this year anyway……lol
