I hear that the series with Cornell is off for a year because UMass won't defer the last game of the three year deal.
After the opener with Albany, the Saints will play on the road at UVM (11/12) and LaSalle (11/16) before returning home to face St. Bona (11/19). Then comes the trip to Purdue (11/24) and the Old Spice Classic (11/28, 11/29 and 12/1.
Not exactly an eight game cakewalk to start the season.

I think I see why the staff wanted Cornell for next year and delay UMass a year. It just makes the schedule that much tougher! Oh well the team will get some good experience and hopefully prepare us for MAAC play. We could be a few games under .500 early but if we get better and progress it will hopefully make us stronger in the long run.

That would be 29. I did the math for 93/34 which requires a little less bear grease on KK's abbacus..(2.73529). but Siena has been there too many times already.

The Bracketbuster series is over. The Old Spice is 4 games (Purdue plus the 3 games in Orlando over Thanksgiving) only count as one against the limit since they are part of an exempt tournament. Thus Siena will play the NCAA max of 31 regular season games (20 MAAC, 11 OOC)
Schedule to date so far:
11/8: vs. UAlbany 11/12: @ Vermont 11/16: @ LaSalle 11/19: vs. St. Bonaventure 11/24: @ Purdue *11/28 @ Old Spice Classic *11/29 @ Old Spice Classic *12/1 @ Old Spice Classic
TBD: @ UMass TBD: vs. Fordham TBD vs. Hofstra

It will be even more interesting if we end up landing Buie, and with a waiver.
