We need a year or two to get our own house in order and shake the loser mentality left over from the last regime. Success begets success.

"McGlade said the A-10 will play a 16-game schedule with 13 teams next season and then the hope is to play 18 games as a 14-team league in 2014-15."
Unless I'm missing something, the article states they will have 13 teams in 2014-2015. Who's the 14th. Siena?

They will have 13 for the 2013-2014 season with Mason being the 13th. Davidson will be the 14th school starting in the 2014-2015 season when they arrive.

Ahhh well I guess that's it then. Hopefully Patsos and his band of Loyola brothers makes an impression, but something tells me that it was over when Siena said no to Pitino.

Keep in mind that SLU & Dayton/VCU still could move. The plump woman hasn't sung yet.

How do you know Siena said no to Pitino? I don't think Siena was ever in the running considering Pitino went to Minnesota. At the end of the day Davidson and George Mason have had more success than Siena and they extend the southern footprint, thats why they got the invites, not because of some coach. Siena will get there, but saying it was because Pitino isn't here is crazy

They said they would to be considerate but were going to meet with Minnesota's AD and that they wanted Pitino. So D'arg said thanks but no thanks and moved on.

Siena doesn't have to announce at the same time as Davidson. I would think Siena would want to avoid a major announcement during Finals Week, but I guess that it doesn't matter too much.
